When we visit Santa Monica, we look forward to getting here for lunch. It is a very colorful and fun place to have a relaxing meal right on Main St., Santa Monica. Over the years the food and service are always fine supported with an excellent selection of margaritas, beers and tequilas.

I've been going to Lula's on and off for ten years. Really like the colorful vibe, decorations and service. Food owner Annie Gilliland's unique take on Mexican. Not cheap, but moderately priced for the quality. Had a DELICIOUS hibiscus margarita. Will be back soon...

After shopping for most of the day we needed to refresh and get some nosh, and this place seemed inviting so in we went. Right away we ordered two incredible margarita's and some food to share. The flavours were wonderful, the service was relaxed yet friendly, and the total price at the end was far better than expected for the... More

This will be a short review...the place is consistently good. They have a wonderful tequila list and make some great margaritas! The food is upscale and hasn't disappointed. I have been coming here for over 10 years.

Great Mexican food a few blocks away from Santa Monica Beach. The baja fish tacos were amazing! We also tried the blood orange margarita, which was delicious too. I would recommend this place for happy hour or a quick bite near the beach!

Dim lighting, lots of color, bottles of top shelf tequila on display along with various Mexican trinkets create an atmosphere of cantina, at least of the tourist driven variety. The menu is extensive, probably something for everyones tastes. I can recommend the tacos, enchiladas suizas and the tostados de pollo. The portions are hearty and the rice and beans are... More

Been here with a few friends on a Sunday. Slow service and a little bit overpriced. The food is good, but I feel it's more expensive than other places that serve the same type and quality of food.

Arrived at 6:15 to a half-empty restaurant only to be told no tables were available due to pending reservations. Ate in bar area for two hours+ only to watch said reserved tables (i.e. half the restaurant) remain empty?! Host/ess staff at front desk is very inexperienced -- holding back half the restaurant's tables for reservations 2 hours+ in advance. Doesn't... More

Food was very good, but slightly pricey for what you got. Chips and salsa were unique - we ate more than our share of those!! :) Fun atmosphere and busy, even on a Sunday night. Service was excellent - our waiter was friendly and quick. Overall, would recommend.
