The Daily Pint is the kind of bar you dream about. Unassuming on the outside, unassuming on the inside. A few pool tables, bar stools and tables, nothing fancy. Then you open the menu or look on the shelves....literally hundreds of different kinds of scotch whiskies. Extremely rare finds here. My son had been telling me about the selection and... More

After walking 8 or 9 miles I had worked up a thirst, so decided to walk up Pico from Main Street to The Daily Pint. I had heard lots about this bar, but had never visited it. I'm glad I did. Great beer, huge whisky selection and a good natured crowd who seem to love the place. The bar tender,... More

We stumbled across this bar while walking up from Santa Monica. Totally unexpected but very welcome to get out of the heat. It does not look much from the outside but inside it is a really welcoming bar with an outstanding selection of craft beers & Scottish whisky's. We were made to feel welcome & I would recommend a visit.

Great hole in the wall bar with an incredible selection of scotches and many other rarities. Staff is knowledgable and friendly. This is a must visit for a whisky lover. Also a terrific draft and hand pulled beer selection. Highly recommend!

there isn't much more to say than whatever beer or whiskey you want it will be here. they literally have a huge menu just for drinks. such a brilliant place and they play great tunes too. a great pub. They don't serve food though, which wasn't an issue for me, but they do let you order food to be delivered... More

Small bar with little storage apparently since most of the beer kegs were stored under the shuffleboard table. We decided not to play pool because they were the oldest, dirtiest tables I have ever seen! There are two of them and they are both horrible. The bar owns them and they are not taken care of or cleaned. The shuffleboard... More

The Daily Pint may sound like a beer bar, and it is. They have a great selection of beer on tap. But what really makes the DP special is the whiskey list. Phi, the owner, goes to the UK often, and brings back all sorts of bottles that are not otherwise imported to the United States. Phil is also knowledgeable... More

Huge assortment of Scotch Whiskey, A little on the expensive side if one orders the more unique brands.

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
