This is a quaint old home converted to a restaurant. Staff are friendly but the food was not very creative and lacked flavor. The frittata was more like a fried plain egg. Others in the group had the blueberry pancakes and liked them.

We just purchase a home in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley and this was the first place we ate at. Wed. evenings you can catch music (light Jazz usually) outside. Get there early to sit outside which is very nice on summer nights. We revisited the restaurant and ate inside. Yes also so nice as well as the manager, owner... More

We went to this restaurant with our friends who live there. We knew the food would be excellent since we had been there before when we also lived in the area. It is a charming house turned into a cozy restaurant. They do have outside seating with lovely views of the garden area. My husband and I both ordered Salmon... More

We have enjoyed dining at The Vineyard House each time we're in the area (at least once a year for the last 12 years). They have many excellent choices on their menu from beef to fish to pasta and all of the dishes are fantastic. Between the two of us we have had virtually all of them. They have a... More

This little restaurant is within walking distance of downtown Santa Ynez. Not that Santa Ynez is big. This restaurant has been around longer than most of the others. A place where locals like to come to. That should say something. Good food.

A quaint location well suited for the area that serves a great Sunday brunch at reasonable prices surrounded by tall trees. It has indoor seating, but the outdoor seating is the best with two different views. Service is good and parking is no problem. It seems this restaurant is very popular with the locals and hours away for others who... More

We stayed at the Santa Ynez Inn right next door. Unfortunately the Vineyard House restaurant didn't measure up to the high standards of the Inn. Food was ok, but not special. I had the pozole starter, which was good. Then the snapper special on risotto, which was not so great. I'm sure they have better nights, but this was not... More

My parents, daughter and I stopped here for a late lunch one day. The meal was delicious and huge. We had enough left over for dinner that night. We were served quickly despite the time of day. Plus, it was fun to sit outside on the patio and watch the sleepy street out front.

Larger variety of tasty eats. On a nice day it is really nice to sit out on the deck. I've always gone at lunch time and there is a good variety of soups, salads and great sandwiches/burgers
