Since they opened, this was my favorite place to go. Alone or with friends, it never disappointed me.... BUT THEN IT HAPPENED. Not the food, not the service. THE TACKED ON TIP. I always tip generously, when I feel it is deserved. But to have the restaurant ADD and hence ASSUME...., well, it makes me upset. Raise the prices, pay... More

We love the locally farmed goodness. Sonoma County really is an eater's paradise. Peter Lowell's is no exception. They have amazing salads, the produce is really fresh and tasty. We had vegetarian options, so this time around shared a pizza. It was superb, with just the right crust, super tasty sauce, and melt in your mouth mozzarella. The salad with... More

While it is easy to see why the locals fill this place pretty well (especially over Christmas, where many restaurants are closed/do not open for lunch, etc), the offerings are pretty limited - a couple of sandwiches/salads, mainly pizzas. Turns out the pizza is a hit--thin crust, lots of tasty toppings to choose from, and the beer and wine list... More

The food we've had at Peter Lowell's has always been fresh and tasty, my only complaint and the reason for the 3 stars is that the service has been super slow at each and every visit. This isn't once or twice, I've eaten here multiple times (lunch & dinner) and only go when I have a lot of time because... More

We had breakfast at Peter Lowell's and it was great. The whole idea is locally farmed, seasonal produce and the food, it's flavours and presentation reflect the strong belief system of the place. My husband had two eggs with potatoes, bacon, and sausage. Everything was flavoursome and delicious. I had two poached eggs (a bit too vinegary if I am... More

We had dinner here and generally enjoyed it. It combines the vibe of a neighborhood place with a great many repeat locals and an imaginative concept in its design and its approach to something close to fine dining. We only experienced a few dishes but I would say that, for someone who, like me, cannot eat spicy food, the choices... More

A great restaurant with quality fresh menu ingredients with menu selections for all eating habits including vegans, which I am one. Wonderful food and a very good wine and beer list. There is a rice bowl entree with tofu or not, thin crust artisan pizzas, usually a fish entree and something unexpected like rabbit last time I was there and... More

Ask for a table outside! We didn't realize there was an awesome patio out back until our meal was almost over and wished we had done so. This was a very interesting place with unique salads and pizza options that taste great. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

We stopped in on a Friday evening for an early dinner and were glad that we chose it. All the tables were booked, always a good sign, so we sat at the bar and enjoyed a delicious meal. The server was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. I started with the soup of the day which was delicious and I had their... More

I have visited Peter Lowell's a few times over the past year while visiting family in the area. There is always something new and interesting on the menu. On my recent visit I ordered lentil soup and was surprised by a very complex take on an old standard. I've always enjoyed every meal I've had there.
