My husband and I ate twice for the quality of the food and proximity to our hotel. We were also informed that they were considered Farm to Table Food. We first went for dinner on a busy Friday night and lamented that there was no...More

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad you came to try both dinner and brunch. After having table service for dinner, I totally understand your confusion when dining with us for breakfast/lunch. It's almost like we're two different restaurants, but most of our...More

Succulent has improved a lot since my last review. The service was very good. Their daily specials are awesome.

I'm a local. I've been driving past this place for a while and I was hoping for more as I had been recommended here. We came for breakfast. You order at a front counter from about 4 options on a chalk board then grab your...More

Thanks for giving Succulent a try. We've come to the conclusion that you meant 40 items, (not four), because that's about whats listed over 5 chalkboards, and there are three chalkboards with drinks. The silverware and napkins are given to you in a caddie with...More

We had lunch at the Succulent Cafe. The food was pretty good. I had a sandwich and everyone else in my party had a salad. The food was a little overpriced. I paid almost $60 for a sandwich and two salads with drinks.

I wish I tried the lunch options here because they actually look pretty great. Most of the positive reviews here seem to be for their sandwiches and other lunch items. The dinner options are super expensive and there's nothing really unique about them. It also...More

We appreciate you coming in to try Succulent. Contrary to what you may think, we get many wonderful reviews for our dinner menu, and we do think our signature item "3 Little Pigs" among others, is unique. Our lunch is pretty great too! You'll have...More

Wonderful meat but the waitress was very loud, and delivered the same script to every table Couldn't leave quick enough, but that perhaps is the Brit in me 🤔

I ordered the BBQ meatloaf crazily expecting it to be just that. It came out with a thick white bland gravy...no bbq sauce. I questioned to make sure I got the right order and our server said "yes, and we get that question a lot...More

Thanks for giving Succulent a try. Our meatloaf is one of our most popular dishes probably because it's not your usual kind. It's smoked and has BBQ sauce, but is served with a bacon gravy, mashed potatoes and succotash, as described on the menu. We...More

Next time you're in Solvang, do not miss this restaurant! The food is amazing. First of all, make reservations because walk-ins usually sit outside. Admittedly that's not a bad thing, unless you want to sit inside. So there. Next this restaurant makes their own bacon...More

If you want sugar with all your food this place is for you. Everything is sweet. I mean really sweet. Even the duck breast swims in a sweet sauce. With the little bread substitute biscuits they serve a preserve with it. No butter all sugar....More

In it's simplest form, the word gastrique means sweet & sour sauce. You ordered the duck which is typically paired with sweet, in our case, a blood orange gastrique. We offer many options on the dinner menu that are not sweet and more savory such...More
