We stopped in on a rainy afternoon and had a quick bite and a latte. The danish is exquisite there and the coffee is very good.

This place just charms the heart and the stomach. I have been coming here for many many years since I was a kid, and it is the greatest place to just relax and be decadent.

We walked through the town, including most of the many bakeries. This one looked the best, so we stopped in for a pastry and cup of tea. I had an almond croissant and DW an apple turnover. The pastries were fresh and tasty. Only negative was they are ultra-expensive at almost $14 for 2 teas & 2 pastries.

We stopped in Solvang to pick up a pastry "on the way" to Cambria and we enjoyed the pastries so much, we stopped back by on the way home. ... and proceeded to buy an entire box for the family to enjoy at home. Needless to say, they did not last very long. Lovely pastries, great selection, friendly staff, a... More

Had a quick breakfast on my way through Slovang. The pastries were fresh but slightly over sweet and and lacking flavour. The coffee was very average

The awesome bakery smell drew us in and we tried the flaky and melting in mouth pastires. I believe it was cream cheese Danish, a rasberry macaroon bar and a berry boats we tried. Also the box of danish cookies on way back was joy to senses.

We had not been to Solvang in 20 years. Tons of people took away the quaintness and the bakery it was a herd of cattle. We got our pastries (delicious) and got back on the freeway heading home.

When in Denmark---er, Solvang, one must eat danish, right? So we stopped into Mortensen's for a couple of snacks---Cherry Danish was the big winner! So many other treats to choose from though that I will definitely have to stop back!
