Picked up a take-out order on a week night. Order was as requested when requested. Need to allow 20 minutes at least. Their shredded chicken salad is the best of the competition in our opinion.

Got take out here. Ordered broccoli beef, string beans, lemon chicken, and spring rolls. Pretty good food, fresh vegetables. Some mistakes in order. Got a very small amount of rice, even though I asked for extra rice. Paid for extra beef, but seemed to get extra broccoli. I would avoid take out here.

This is a true local hangout, it's best if you walk here because you probably shouldn't drive home!! Lethal, and delicious Mai-Tia's. Our order is ALWAYS the same: Tao Tao Beef, Chinese Chicken Salad (small feeds 4 or more as a side or appetizer), Chow Fun Noodles. You can't go wrong. The waters tend to be surly, but attentive :)... More

I grew up going to Tao Tao with my parents and family from a preteen. Frank and Louie were the owners and it held many found memories, great family dinners and wonderful times. I am now 59 and continued the tradition from afar until I moved out of state 15 years ago. This year I spent Christmas with my daughter... More

The food was only so-so. Pretty standard Chinese dishes. The best dish was the honey prawns. Sadly, the garnish included a black hair. The manage to apologized and deducted the cost of the dish. But what ensures we will never be back was the haughty service from our waiter. Inexcusable. He practically tossed dishes on our table. We had planned... More

Our visit there with a group was average at best. The food was just OK. Not great, not bad. I probably will try somewhere else next time. Parking around there was a problem as well, even on a weeknight.

I've gone to this Chinese restaurant and utilize take-out for many years. The Tao-tao beef and chicken fried rice have been outstanding. There are a few other dishes that are pretty darn good, but some are mediocre.

My family has been going here for 25+ years. We have our favorite dishes, chicken salad and Tao Tao beef. There are some duds too. The service has always sucked, and it did this past weekend too.

Ranking this against the other restaurants on Murphy street, this is at the top of my list. The Tao Tao beef was very good, extremely tender and wonderful flavor. The Honey walnut shrimp was amazing. The only down side was that the portions could have been a little larger. I like to have some Chinese leftovers the next day and... More

This isn't the best choice for Chinese in the area. The Tao Tao beef is the best item on the menu. The once famous chicken salad is so not exciting. The problem is they are very inconsistent with flavor and freshness. Over the 20 years my family and I have been coming here it has gone downhill fast. If you... More
