We went to dinner at Zia Lina for our anniversary. Every item off of the menu we received was cold and the garlic knots still had raw dough/the cheese was not melted inside. Very disappointed.

We had a great dinner here. Started with homemade focaccia bread with oil/vinegar and caesar salad, both good. I had the eggplant parmesan....done in a very unique way. The eggplant was sliced in wedges, breaded and then baked in their wood-fire oven, then served over pasta and sauce. Very tasty! Spouse had spaghetti and meatballs... which was deemed good. We... Love Tahoe City and want all business to survive, but I can not recommend Zia Lina. Not sure if they have a different owner or chief but our last meal was terrible. Two of us had to send our pasta dishes back because they were cold. Warm I could have kept but literally the pasta was cold. For the cost... More

The mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette was outstanding. The waiter told us it would be and he was correct. The chick peas were crisp--a real treat--and there was just enough dressing. We also had the fennel sausage pizza. It was very good; however, the toppings were concentrated in the center of the pizza the 2 -3 inch outside was... More

Service & Wine were exceptional. The food was "Terrible!" I had the Eggplant Parmesan, my husband had a seafood & pasta dish. You could barely tell it was eggplant on my plate.....looked like an english muffin with eggplant spread..... hard & crispy, the pasta was the saving factor of this dish. My husband's seafood dish was "bland" with little to... More

My wife and I visited this place many years ago when it was the previous owner and only to find out that the manager at that time is now the owner and he elevated the quality and service. If you like Italian food get there a little early and get the front seats facing the window as you can see... More

This little place has such charm and the Staff is friendly & efficient. The build-your-own pizza was fun and baked perfectly. The pasta was so yummy too. Good wine & beer list. The aroma of garlic hits you as soon as you walk in the door. Love quaint places like this!

My friend and I were looking for an Italian restaurant, we were not disappointed. Both of us being french with Italian origins, we have pretty high standard in regards to Italian food. That place was really nice, the waitress was very polite, pizzas and wine were very good. Even the desert was delicious, try the Panna Cotta. My friend who... More
