We were a little disappointed with the Restaurant at Ponte. We arrived famished and chose to stop because they were #3 in Temecula. The service was good and they had several GF offerings: steak, lamb, salmon, trout and chicken but the food (other than the bread) just wasn't exceptional...

Excellent restaurant to go to after some wine tastings! Very cozy and yet fashionable place to enjoy their wonderful meals and more wine :) Sangria was very well made with decent wine, and it was just right amount of sweetness. It actually went very well with Cioppino (the seafood soup with pasta). Their bread was wonderful too, with some kind... More

The food was good and the service was also good. The ambiance was not what we thought. It had no private or intimate feel. It was more like an expanded lobby bar with people coming and going.

Back yesterday (Sunday) for late lunch to check out the burger specials for January. This is burger month and all the top spots like Habit, 1909, Avensole and more are featuring burger specials. We checked out the 1st place winner, Avensole, Saturday and today tried out Ponte. At $18 with steak fries it is pricey but same as Avensole. The... More

The food, wine, and setting are beautiful. There are weddings almost every weekend. What I like is you can buy a bottle and go and sit at the pond in their hotel gardens to drink it. There's even outdoor gas fire pits to sit around when it's chilly. Definitely worth a day trip!!

The restaurant at Ponte proved to be a spectacular place for a wonderful pre-holiday, family lunch! The location is beautiful, the staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the food is truly excellent. We had two toddlers and two babies in our crowd and the waitress did so much to please them- bringing their food early, making sure they had... More

We booked a reservation for New Year's Eve dinner and had a very enjoyable experience in the wine cellar. Waitstaff accomadted all of our needs, service was prompt and friendly. We had the land & sea option which was a perfectly cooked filet of beef with 2 scallops, served over mashed potatoes and asparagus. Dinner was delicios and the setting... More

Saw this was highly rated on TripAdvisor. Overall the experience was very nice. Dinner started with fresh sun-dried tomato focaccia loaf with a delicious dipping sauce (I wish I knew what was in it). We all had fish so we got a bottle of Pinot Grigio which was decent. It was a standard Pinot Grigio with lots of citrus flavor.... More

We wandered over from Carter Estate one December morning. Pontes opened for breakfast before Pontes or South Coast, and we are early risers. We were pleasantly surprised. Quiet music. A roaring fire. An attentive server. (Thanks, James.) French press coffee. Perfectly poached eggs. We've been back over and over again.

Although the chef creates a variety of good dishes, I'm shameless: a bottle of "Luscious Lips", a bowl of their mushroom soup, a California burger, and I'm good to go! Just sayin.
