Never been to anything else at McPhees in Templeton, but their Sunday Brunch. Start with the salad bar and then the entrees grilled directly off the grill. Desert? sure all you can eat. Make this a treat and don't forget the reservation.

McPhee catered my daughter's wedding some 15 years ago, the food was top notch. For a few years after that we had meals at the restaurant with always pleasant memories. We had not been back for a decade, but returned with many family members to...More

This quaint place was recommended to us by a local winemaker. It was busy when we arrived for lunch and the wait staff seemed to know most customers on a first name basis. Templeton is a small town so food choices are limited. Our experience...More

Our B & B recommended this restaurant to us and we were very happy with the food and experience. Had a roasted artichoke with chipotle mayo as an appetizer and LOVED it. Great food and a nice ambiance.

We ate at McPhee's on the recommendation of another guest at our B&B in the area. It is part cool, part local and has terrific food in a low key atmosphere on the Main Street in old Templeton. My husband had a pork chop that...More

We return to McPhee's grill this year again, a short drive from Paso Robles. The place remains unchanged..and decor is downright old style western California. My wife's pork chop was fantastic, while my Macadamia Crusted Northern Halibut with ginger sesame vinaigrette, Asian slaw, spicy cucumbers,...More

Second time here, wanted to revisit before writing review. Service and atmosphere were great, food was good but slightly overpriced, was expecting more. Have had better at other restaurants for less $$$.

Great atmosphere for dinner, and delicious food, baby back ribs were tender and tasty. Good wine list, Problem Child from Linnie Colado was perfect with our dinner

Yes there is and unfortunately its one of the highest out there. If I remember (and I could be wrong) its about $20. Better to just go and have their wine. Their house wines are very good.

I've lived in Templeton since I was 11 years old... Back when it was a po-dunk farm town. It's definitely lost that vibe and become more of a yupee feel, which I hate, but unfortunately it's the way things go when you live... More
