We took Dad and Mom here for breakfast on mom's birthday week visit. The menu had a lot of variety, and we all received great meals.

Seascape's location can't be beat...even on the foggiest of days it's spectacular. The food, however is another story. I've eaten here many times over the years and I always leave disappointed. The restaurant is literally steps from the water and one would expect good clam chowder, at the very least. Their chowder is basically Campbells Potato soup. The food is... More

We wanted to check out Trinidad Beach & this restaurant is at the edge of the dock. After checking out the tide pools under the dock, we decided to eat at the restaurant. The location could not have been better. Too bad the same can't be said about the food. Expensive and just not that good. The strawberry shake was... More

Exploring Lighthouses on the Coast. So since our 50-State Quest was finished in 2001 now retired we are taking smaller trips from our Kelseyville home. This was one of them going north towards the Oregon border. That time we took our vacation in September of (( 2014 not 2016)). So this review will be for one of the eatery's we... More

Good food, more upscale than diner fare, but has a cozy homey feel in the heart of Trinidad. Great fudge at the counter on the way out, and walking distance to local art galleries.

We ate at the Seascape based on the recommendation of a local (the young lady who let us into our rental house). We ate at the Seascape on a Saturday evening in early August. We arrived at 5:00 and were seated right away. We were lucky to get a table with a great view right next to a window. We... More

It was recommended by a local and we were very pleased. I had the calimari steak and it was very lightly breaded and pan fried perfectly. The bright green peas were topped with a light sauce and sliced almonds. The salad included lightly pickled veggies. All the sauces were tasty and a bit unique. Besides the fresh seafood, there is... Classic seaside food...fresh fish, mostly deep fried but you can get healthy versions if you ask. Perfect location right at the end of the dock and a few feet from the beach and fishing charters.

Restaurant is located right by the bay so there are water views. Clam chowder is excellent. You can order half servings of some seafood dishes. Ate here for 2 nights and enjoyed entrees both nights. Homemade desserts. The blackberry pie was outstanding. Excellent service.

The restaurant has one of the best views for dining in Humboldt County (if it is not foggy). The food is always good. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. We go there to celebrate special occasions.
