After having a mediocre meal and poor service, I found I had left my credit card there.I called and left a message, but no one called me back. I was traveling and was forced to cancel my card. I have eaten there before and had a better experience, but I won't be back.

My husband and I spent an evening in Ukiah recently and dropped by this restaurant for dinner. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, nicely spiced. The lettuces in the spring salads were incredibily fresh and tender, the squash raviolis were mouthwatering. I had a pasta primivera. It was quite tasty, although the pasta was just a... More

My husband took me to Patrona's for Mother's Day. We had a reservation for 7 p.m. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was not packed, and I thought that unusual on a special day with so few nice, so-called fancy restaurants in Ukiah. The ambiance is quite nice. As it was not packed, the noise level was... More

Traveling with family and stopped in Ukiah for the night. We wanted to sit outside (the weather was nice and Sis has a dog). Patrona does have a nice patio, but it's not to the scale of the interior decor. Service was a bit slow but I think it was because we were the only ones out there. We like... More

This is the best restaurant in town by far. food is fresh using local ingredients and the ambiance is nice especially in the summer when one can eat on the the outside patio. The sweet chili cod is my favorite dish.

Keeping in mind that this is Ukiah, not Sonoma, the food is fresh and creative and tasty and continually on the move. The waiters are ALWAYS sweet and down to earth. Got engaged here, my kid are his first chocolate mousse here. Went to Chez Panisse once; I think when Patrona is hitting on all cylinders they are at least... More

Our favorite restaurant for special dinners when in Ukiah. The service has always been good, the food above average, and the decor well done.

Great place. Very relaxed and stylish. They have awesome drinks and the food is fabulous. I come here for oysters and cocktails. The outdoor seating works great for brunch.

Patrona Restaurant and Lounge is located in the heart of beautiful Ukiah, Mendocino County, California. We are a family-run business and view the restaurant as an extension of our kitchen and living room. Our building served as the town grocery store for over one hundred years. Now lovingly restored, it is softly lit with warm brick walls, filled with hand crafted tables from local artisans and run by a staff that cares. Bridget and Craig, two winery chefs, opened Patrona in 2003. The simple goal was to enjoy the great area we live in and share this with our family and friends. Our mission statement is simply “Happy People”. We need to be happy about what we do and how we do it. Our guests need to be happy and feel good as well as our neighbors and future generations. This means a thoughtful and sustainable business. Our menu changes are based on today’s catch from the gardens, ocean and local purveyors.
