A small cafe inside the Merville General Store, with long opening hours, something like 7am-8pm 7 days a week! Home-cooked food, good home-baking, great hand cut fries, house-made chicken strips, generous servings, daily specials, gluten-free bread available and staff willing to adapt most orders to make it gluten-free. Very friendly and pleasant. Better `diner`type food that you`d get in most diners,... More

Have been here a few times and the food is good. nothing fancy but good food. not a big selection but still something for everyone. good baked items and good service. a lot of locals people seems to be there. Just a good old fashion country diner.

The produce department was ok, at little more product would have been nice and it was very pricey. The staff were nice.

Eats & Treats isn't a high end restaurant but a charming country cafe. Service is great with friendly staff. We mostly go there for brunch or lunch (all day breakfast) and the food is always good and quite inexpensive. Their home-cut fries are excellent. One negative in winter - the main door can make it quite drafty.

Straight up diner! Homemade soups, scones, muffins, fries, desserts. Ambience is friendly country. Basically breakfast and lunch. However, fish and chips dinner stands up to most. Burgers, which I only eat if I make. ..I've been told are darn fine! I trust! Be prepared to feel local.

First, IT'S NOT the General Store,** it's the cafe in the store**. The cafe is called Eats and Treats. We wrote at one time it was a great place to go, BUT not any more. Twice in the last three times we've been there we found hair in the food. The first time I suggested they wear hairnets and took... More

This restaurant is now known as Eats and Treats cafe or diner, The food is good and inexpensive. It's homemade and good quality as well as quantity. We generally go there for breakfast and have yet to be disappointed. I can't remember if I've reviewed this place before, because it's under new management. I might have reviewed the old one.... This is a great little coffee shop-diner which is part of a corner store and filling station. Don't let its modest appearance fool you - they make seriously delicious food and wonderful baked treats. The friendly service seals the deal. Definitely worth a visit!
