We had a team lunch here, sat outside in the shade and it was lovely. Their food comes out quickly and i highly recommend their salmon steak, which comes with a Kale salad. I also hear their coffee is great too, although i havent tried it.

We stayed for a few days at Sydney Olympic Park. One of the problems with this area, as I see it, is the lack of eateries. Sure there are the fast food places. But hidden away in the gardens of the Abattoir precinct is a gem. Abattoir Blues was where we chose to have breakfast and an occassional lunch, joined... More

There's not a great deal of quality choice at Olympic Park, so this is slightly different - being in an older building it has a charm that the rest don't have. Food was good and reasonable price. The drinks were a bit limited in choice and could really benefit from having some beer and cider on tap. Service was so-so,... More

Came for a coffee one afternoon and was pretty good so came back for a relaxed breakfast and it's the best in the area. I had sourdough fruit toast with butter which was excellent. My companion had the breaky burger which he said was good (on a brioche bun so a bit sweet for his taste, though). Coffee was good.... More

Good coffee, definitely one of the best in the immediate area. (milk can be a little overheated for my liking, but when less busy it seems to be better) Menu is good with a small but varied range to choose from. indoor and outdoor seating available. Usually have the toasted muesli and it's nice - make sure you ask for... More

I come to this place to have their burgers which are awesome. They have quite a selection on offer. Their variety of sandwiches and side dishes are also great. Great place to come for a quick lunch.

We had a lovely time listening to live Blues music, in the sun with Hawaiian beer on special. It's a great find in such a busy place.

We moved into the area earlier last year, and my husband and I were delighted to finally hit on what we thought would become our regular cafe. Unfortunately, after a few visits we were quite disappointed and have not returned. The coffee and tea is lovely, if the person taking your order is paying attention. The peri-peri burger and chips... More

Usually places around here are at best generic or just no good but this place is both Kool and tasty. Always my lunch stop during expos and conferences :-)

Abattoir Blues is a new addition to Sydney Olympic Park, hidden away in a historic 1900's abattoir building, just off Dawn Fraser Avenue, that keeps the integrity & honesty of it history through its simple offering.

Enjoy a quiet coffee in our vintage cafe or soak up the sun in a hedge lined courtyard.

On Friday nights and during events at the Park settle in for a few drinks - we're just across the road from the Sydney Olympic Park Train Station, and enjoy local live Blues & Folk music.

Catering is available and bookings are preferred during events.
