My wife and I happened upon this place walking through downtown one night and were excited about all the different options they have on their menu. It's a place we'll be visiting again soon!

Vanessa's Bistro is one of my favorite locations to dine in Walnut Creek. Located right in downtown Walnut Creek, there is lots of shopping, restaurants, bars and more nearby to make a day of your visit to the restaurant. Being downtown, parking can be a little difficult, but this place is worth it. Tuesday's and Saturday's are great for half... More

Vanessa's Bistro 2 serves Thai/Vietnamese/Spanish food. It doesn't quite know what it wants to be. The dishes also don't know what they want to be. The panko-crusted petrale sole tapas were the best thing that I ate. The tuna tartare was drowned in oil and the tuna taste was completely masked. The calamari was amazingly tender for being such large... More

4 of us ate here. All the tapas were great. We dined totally on tapas and drinks. Top tapas included poke and calamari.

This small place has Vietnamese food with a hint of French. A great variety of dishes. Our group of 6 had 5 different dishes, we shared and I enjoyed them all.

We came for Happy Hour to celebrate a co-workers bon voyage. The food was delicious, favorable and fresh. We ordered drinks and small bites. The food and drinks came very quick. Our waitress Jessica was very attentive and great. I would definitely recommend. The atmosphere was calm and fresh.

This is really a "small plates" restaurant with fairly substantial prices for the quantity presented. We ordered the noodles with mango and shrimp, the pot stickers and the soft tacos with petrale sole. The petrale was fried to a crisp so it lost most of its wonderful flavor but overall we liked the dish. Don't order the potstickers...they were tasteless... More

I have eaten there now 5 times. Each time I got something different to taste around the menu. All items have been very tasty and flavorful due to the Asian spices. They have a great small plates selection, and some are half-price on Tuesdays. I loved the clay pot dish, and the curry dishes. A great place in Walnut Creek.

Interesting Vietnamese inspired cuisine. We went on Tuesday and only ordered Tapas which are half-price on Tuesdays, which is a fantastic deal. Dinner for 4 people for only $50! (no alcohol in that price). Food was very tasty and the service was good.

Thank Sanjay G
