Long time iconic WLV sushi restaurant Kaminari closed recently, putting up for grabs many loyal fans, including this writer. This opens the door for other places, and so we found our way to Tomodachi recently on two different nights to see if we had found a replacement. Both nights this large and open sushi restaurant just didn't deliver. It started... More

This is our go to sushi restaurant in Westlake. The fish is always so fresh, and we love Nobu who always takes amazing care of us, especially my daughter and her boyfriend who are gluten free and grain free.

We consider this the best sushi in Westlake. While the service can be hit or miss, the sushi is always right on.

The fish is fresh and delicious. We enjoy the unique items Nobu at Tomodashi makes and the care that he takes to make sure that patrons are happy. A bit expensive but always worth it.

The food is very good and the sushi is tasty. I would recommend going if you have more than an hour for lunch as the service has been slow the last few times I've eaten here.

My favorite sushi place was closed down the street (Because it was Sunday) so we decided to try this place out. One of my friends had boasted about the place and he is kind of a foodie so we went in with high expectations. When we first came in the first thing we heard was blasted rock music throughout the... I went here with a friend and we loved it! They have the most amazing blue crab hand rolls and the best spicy albacore you can imagine. Had an amazing time and will return.

Food is really good. Atmosphere wanting but sushi quality is there with a good reputation. Best for family or casual business lunch. Not a romantic stop.

Been going here for a long time. At least 5 times a month. Portions are big and always beautifully fresh. I am a chef myself and i love it here. Nobu and all the chefs are artists at what thay present.
