Salsa was really good. It had enough spice to give it great flavor without leaving the burn in your mouth. Steak tacos were excellent! The steak was cut up into small pieces and I didn't run into any gristle or fat. The shredded beaf was also very tasty. Rice and beans were good too. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal... More

Called into La Casita late afternoon to order dinner for three. The person answering the phone never verified the order nor did the person who checked me out when I got there. Bottom line: I ordered two Yucatan chicken fajitas and .chile relleno along with extra chips which I understood to be $4 additional. When I arrived, there was only... More

Road weary, so ordered take out. You could smell the roasted chillies in the restaurant! Service was super friendly and although we only ordered beans and cheese burritos, it came with chips and 6 kinds of home made salsas! Wish I had had time and appetite to stay for the house fajitas... They went by on a plate sizzling and... More

The food is just average. The servers are efficient but not very personable. It is not a place I would bring guests to, it is mediocre at best.

If you fancy Mexican food, I would highly recommend this place if you are in Yucca Valley. We had chicken tortillas and tacos. Mango Margarita was actually pretty good. Service was quick and the prices very reasonable. Id go back if Im ever in Yucca Valley again.

The waitress was awesome. The food is basic American Mexican food. The salsa is tomato sauce, no spice. We arrived in Joshua Tree late afternoon and the hotel recommended this place. We liked it, but go to eat not to taste.

Te quantity of food is large. They serve chips and individual salsa dishes to each customer. The food was a little above average for mexican restaurants I have eaten at. Staff were friendly and the service was good. They serve a large, but weak margarita.

Food is mediocre. Fast food served quickly cafeteria style. Little of this goes a long way. Not a fist choice.

There was nothing wrong with the food except mine was a tad cold...but the taco and the enchilada were very tasty as was the bottomless basket of chips and mild salsa. The service was fine and there are no complaints. We could have used some REAL Mexican music and a bit more warmth from the serving staff. They were ok... More

This family run restaurant was quite busy during our visit. Staff was hurried but attentive. Based on the reviews of others, I expected some unique dishes. Not so. Standard items. Nothing special to recommend. Prices were competitive to similar restaurants.

Thank theobo
