Based on reviews, we made reservations to eat at the MET for dinner. We were disappointed, the food was under seasoned and my dessert was microwaved into a rubbery mess. Not recommended.

We enjoyed dinner at The Metropolitan which specialises in small dishes. It is a fun concept to enjoy with friends. I can’t remember what we ordered, lots of small plates, but everything was delicious so I would recommend this restaurant.

I love this place! Not too big. Casual seating. Fun vibe. Great menu..small plates for every palate, great for sharing. Extensive wine bar as well as well stocked with spirits. Friendly staff. What more could you want??

Mostly small plates (we did not eat here), my partner and I really enjoyed coming here for a drink, and made it three times in our 5 day stay in Avon. Drinks are very good--especially after dinner ones, and bartenders are all fantastic and approachable....More
