Basta is located in the Peleton. It has very good food quality and judging from the crowd it’s also very popular, but I thought the service was a bit too precious and the prices were high to make it a good value. We went with friends and tried the Piada with Burrata (very good), Romaine Salad (meh -- average), Pork... More

This restaurant came highly recommended and was simply casual chic, wonderful staff and amazing food! Try anything on the menu! Its all fantastic! We split the clam pizza and lasagna. Next time we will try the whole fish and short ribs for sure. This place is fit for foodies! Make a reservation!

It's amazing what comes out of this wood-fired pizza oven. Beyond making a fine pizza, the chef delivers delicious roasted vegetables, an excellent farro dish, heavenly lasagna, great baked chicken and fantastic short ribs & mashed potatoes. Every bite was divine! How does he do it?? No idea.

Hmm. If you like burned extremely expensive pizza with pretentious waiters, this is the place for you. Honestly I have no idea why this place has such good ratings. The waiter actually said to me, " there are hard words on the menu and I am the only one who knows their definition, if you want to be enlightened come... More

Chef Kelly is clearly passionate about the quality of the food and its sourcing. The bar is stocked with in-house concoctions and an expert staff. I've had many dishes besides the pizza which, to me, are the best in Boulder. The wait staff are clearly knowledgeable and very customer oriented. Truly, I like the dining experience as much as the... More

Six of us enjoyed dinner - all dishes family style, even the salads. The pickled green tomatoes were perfect against the pizzas - our first course. They get their wood-fired oven up to well above 500 degrees, so 12" pizzas cook quickly - great thin crusts and flavors, and far different from the "usual" pizza place. We tried their farro... More

With a stellar ranking from 5280 magazine and other good reviews, we expected a superb dinner. What we got were intriguing menu descriptions, high prices, and generally unimpressive food. The baked oyster plate was a display of bubbling broth in oyster shells on a bed of salt, in which there were 4 tiny oysters with little memorable flavor. The pizza... More

We came here for an early dinner date. We shared the brussels sprouts dish, the lasagna all'amatriciana, and the "arugula" pizza. Service was pretty friendly and fast. They seemed a little too eager to take away our plates when there was still food on them, and it was not crowded so they didn't really need to rush us along. That... More

Pizzeria is on the ground floor in the center of a apartment/condo complex. No commercial parking lot, more like it was designed to be the neighborhood pizzeria for the complex. If you really want to go here ride a bike or find someplace outside the complex and walk in.

Perfect wood-fired, authentic Italian pizza. Also excellent roasted chicken. Add to that - two desserts only on the menu and we have to have them both each time - and we don't love dessert typically. The "doughnuts" (beignet-like and round) to dip in mascarpone whip; and the best tiramisu we have ever had - not too fluffy and the layer... More
