What a treasure with fantastic authentic food choices. The service and food were just exceptional. A must when visiting Boulder. The Tea House is just beautiful and a site to see. Get there early for lunch and make reservations 24 hours in advance for afternoon tea. Do not miss this place.

In this quirky town full of surprises, the Tea House was perhaps the most unforeseen. I was in the hands of locals shepherding me around the front range for the first time. They gave no hint of where we would be having lunch, just walked me up to the stunning façade. Even that didn't prepare me for the work of... More

The tea house is a must-see for anybody coming to Boulder. It is a stunning building and a treasure for Boulder City. The food is very unique International and good quality. They have some of the best chai in the city. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting to Boulder.

Mushroom appetizer was devine. A beautiful evening with the sounds of the creek lulling us into relaxation after an intense day. Mushroom appetizer was devine. Three of us, and one had the Root vegetable curry. A bit too spicy of mild white girl. Very good mixture for vegetarian, quite tasty she said. Second person had the Korean Pan Fried Noodles... More

This place is a "must go" place. The house is superb. I went there during tea time and for dinner. Both were great experience. The dinner with plates coming from many different places, very friendly service ...

I've been wanting to go to Dushanbe forever, and finally was invited to go for lunch with a new friend. The food was great and the service was excellent. We were seated right away. Definitely going back!

A little bit of Persia in Colorado. The outside and inside is so unique. The food choices had a lot of variety so there is something for everyone, even me a picky eater!

The treat with this place starts on the outside, it is a truly beautiful place but looks even better inside, including the ceilings. However what pictures can’t show you in the lovely smell inside, the tea fragrance envelopes the entire space and it just feels and smells like zen. We found ourselves getting more and more tea and the dessert... More

The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is nestled against the Rocky Mountain Foothills in Boulder Colorado. Sitting alongside Boulder Creek in Central Park, the Teahouse is considered one of Boulder's most attractive and popular tourist attractions, as well as being a local favorite for great food, tea, and atmosphere.

Completely built by hand without the use of any power tools, the Teahouse was constructed in Dushanbe, Tajikistan as a gift to their sister city, Boulder. It was disassembled, crated up, and sent halfway around the world to be rebuilt in Boulder as a symbol of friendship and cultural exploration. The elaborate and creative teahouse now sits as a reminder to the citizens of Boulder to value cultural diversity, global cooperation, and international friendship.
