Our family of six decided to enjoy a special Christmas Eve dinner at Greenbrier Inn. The service was excellent, the ambiance was a bit hurried and definitely crowded. I had to stand up while a waiter prepared a salad table side for another party because there was not enough space between tables. Not so fun. Looks like they may have... More

I read the reviews on TA after we dined, and have come to the conclusion that TA is primarily for younger people. This place was not even rated in the top 10% of restaurants in Boulder. ??? Number 1 and 3 are brewery's . We had a spectacular evening last Saturday. Even though the restaurant was packed , the service... More

My husband and I have dined at the Greenbrier on a number of occasions and always enjoy the ambiance and the food. It is cozy in winter and delightful in warmer months when you can dine on the outdoor patio beneath the trees. The portion of the restaurant which faces the road was a former gas station that now contains... More

An evening trip just as winters blow set in. Even though roads were testy, the snow only made their setting of expansive windows, trees and decorations that much more enjoyable. Staff - competent, polite with enough space yet close if needed. Setting is warm with large open spaces. It never felt crowded. The food was a smashing success for our... More

The food was excellent, consistent with the Greenbriar Inn's long-standing reputation. Service left something to be desired, however. The hostess seemed flustered when three (small) parties arrived at the same time. Table service was very slow, not at the start, but through the meal and afterward.

They have the most amazing brunch layout. Lots of options for any occasion. Inside and out depending on the weather. It is never too loud and the service is always spot on.

The Greenbriar has been around since 1967 and has always been a lovely location to dine. Unfortunately, this visit was not the case. It was Saturday night of Restaurant Week so it was absolutely packed on top of a wedding on the main level. I've not had a bad experience here before but will think twice before making the 45... Best Beef Wellington and Caesar salad I have ever had. The property and grounds are more beautiful than ever. Top 5 wine cellars in the state. I love the casual but elegant service...inside or out on the beautiful patios and lawns. Thank you for all you do!

Took our family of 7 to Greenbriar for dinner last Sun. evening. I've lived in Boulder 46 years. Remember when the Greenbriar was THE place to go for an elegant, romantic evening with outstanding food. We were seated in the large dining room. Only a few other tables occupied. I ordered a Cosmo. I don't think there was any vodka... More

We have been to he Greenbriar Inn on several special occasions. A beautiful setting outside of Boulder and half way to Lyons. We love the ambiance and the great serving staff. They are known for their brunch. This time the food was cold and the pork and roast beef was tough. Good selection but too expensive. Not sure if we... More
