From the time we walked in the door, our experience at this restaurant was over the top. William, our waiter, was knowledgeable without being stuffy. The wine choices were great and the food was wonderful. Don't leave without trying the elk.....perfection!!!! Thanks for a wonderful experience and a fantastic dinner.

A beautiful restaurant off Main St in Breckinridge. As soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly by the host and seated right away to a table by a window overlooking the quaint shops. Ben was our waiter and he was very attentive and we were very pleased with his recommendations. I had the special, a pan seared Halibut... More

Being from South Carolina we don't get a lot of mountain game. So whenever I go to Colorado I always like to indulge myself. My meal began with the wild sausage trio. A nice appetizer consisting of duck, wild boar, and venison. For my entre I was torn between the bison short ribs and the elk medallions. The bartender, Mike... More

Real nice place to go for steak. Good menu, we had a party of 5 and everyone was satisfied with their choices. All meals came out prepared as ordered. Everything is a la cart. Most meat selections are priced at between $25 and $50 each without sides. Sides are served and priced family style at around $8 each. The service... More

One of the best cooked steak in Breckenridge. Mine and my husband's steak were perfectly prepared. We will definitely go back.

We made an advance reservation for our party of 7 on a Thursday night. We had mistakenly made the reservation a day earlier but discovered our mistake and the restaurant was very easy to work with. Exceptional experience when we arrived and everyone in our party stated it was a highlight of our spring break trip. Steaks were excellent and... More

We go to Breckenridge a lot and had never tried this restaurant. We chose to have dinner here on a Sunday night in April with no reservations. The tables are set with white linens and nice lighting. It was busy yet quite. We were seated promptly and both had the Rib Eye steak with brussell sprouts and asparagus. All was... More

Briar Rose was perfect! Best service in town by far. The steaks and prime rib were excellent. It's al a cart but the side dishes are family style and generous. Loved the Brussels sprouts and the root veggie gratin. Kids menu available and extensive wine list! Will return.

Had great reviews on Tripadviser. Not sure why the ratings were so good. Overpriced and average for a ,fine dining, experience.

The food and service was excellent, I had the trout which was huge and delicious! We were impressed at the speedy and courteous service. The only thing I did not like is that we sat at a tiny table for two next the a wall with no views etc.
