My husband and I stopped by for lunch at Jan's after seeing it rated well on Trip Advisor. It seemed nice and clean in the restaurant, but the exterior was not that nice. But we figured it was a local hole in the wall joint that the locals liked, and we like to try those places when we are travelling... More

This is a classic. The owner here is the real treat. She has used her restaurant as an outlet to help and connect with her community. I recommend and will tell many others to go here too.

I stayed with the family at Mt. Princeton hot springs for a few days and this was a great alternative from the lodge food and cheaper. The food was great and the service was excellent. The pancakes are as big as your head! Gluten free and power beard patrons will not find happiness here. This is an old fashion carb... More

When ever I am in BV I stop at Jans. Good food at a reasonable price. Good local atmosphere and friendly service.

Just a quick lunch. Had to navigate through a lot of road work but well worth it. I had a chicken fried steak sandwich. Sorry did not get the waitress's name but very nice and my mountain dew glass never went empty. Very tasty and filled me up for the rest of the day.

Jan's is where you need to top off your tummy. We've never had anything other than breakfast here, but the servings are huge and the contents delicious. Now and then they feature specialty sausages containing area wild game. They can be spicy, but you ought to give them a try. The service is good and the prices are wallet-friendly. Buena... More

Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Portions were large enough that I couldn't finish, only negative would be the daily vegetable - not my favorite. We had heard the pie was recommended, so we did get some to go. I was too full to eat mine until the next night, it was still delicious with a crisp flaky crust -... More

A Good breakfast. Also try the fried chicken for lunch or dinner. Lots of locals make this a regular stop for food.
