They have the best Reuben sandwich I have had for a long long time. Not to mention the German Potatoes. Don't forget to try the desserts. Highly recommend.

We ate a late lunch here for the first time. I had Jaegerschnitzel with fried potatoes and the wife had the daily special, 2 Meat patties, Mashed Potatoes and sauerkraut and Apple Strudel. I also got a piece of pie. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly, but the food portions are a bit small. I... More

The place is not as good as it use to be. Short cuts and cut back in the meal size. I will most likely not return for awhile.

Excellent authentic German food! We had the Jaegerschnitzel with frits and spatzel, both were fantastic!

My family first visited Schnitzel Fritz in 2010 as we were preparing for a trip to Germany. We had passed it several times and wondered what it was like. Although we had eaten at several German restaurants over the years, we had never eaten at a German Deli. We tried a bit of everything and loved it! The crisp well... More

Friendly, tasty, reminder of the canteens of Germany. Those who lived in Germany from the 50's to the 90's will know exactly what we mean. :) On a recent trip to the Springs, our family ate lunch there several days in a row. The zwiebel schnitzel was awesome as was there spaetzle. The kartoffelsalat is good too. Brotchen excellent, curry... More

I was excited. I saw online that Schnitzel Fritz was having a special on sauerbraten. My mother's sauerbraten was to-die-for. I was a bit disappointed in the Schnitzel Fritz version of the sauerbraten. The meat was tough. Fortunately, that can be fixed, simply by marinating the beef longer and cooking it longer. Also, the sauerbraten flavor was toned down considerably.... More

My daughter took us to this restaurant during a receipt visit. I was surprised by how good the food was. The service was also excellent. All-in-all it was a most pleasant and enjoyable dinner.

I ate here for the first time today and had the Jagerschnitzel with mashed potatoes and red cabbage, followed by delicious black forest cake. It was all delicious and at a reasonable price. I will definitely be going back to try their other items and daily specials.

This place is small and the folks who work there speak English but their first language is German so you could really hear their accent, which is always a very good sign that the food is authentic. They have a deli counter filled with assorted items and in the back you order your food. They have magazines and books that... More
