As others have said, the food is up to the standards of a real restaurant, not airport food. I had the lamb sliders and, as others have said, they are excellent. The only caveat is that a portion of two is small, especially for the...More

We were fortunate to have brunch one Saturday morning. We couldn’t get online reservation but took a chance. We were seated straight away. This had the yummiest gluten free breakfast I’ve had a in a long time. The almond pancakes were the most amazing!!! What...More

Right next to our departure gate (C41). Generous portions of delicious food. My wife took leftovers on the flight. Only problem was slow service or I would give 5 stars.

Creative dishes with wonderful flavors and unique cocktails. The rock fish was amazing, Dungeness crab and avocado taco with a twist- the tortilla made out of jicama! The lamb sliders very tasty and come with the sweet potato fries .... well you get the idea....More

Went out for dinner and drinks with friends. The atmosphere is lively, the food is really good and despite being busy the staff really make an effort to keep you for waiting. I do recommend making a reservation. And At times parking can be difficult;...More

We really enjoyed this place. 4 of us found the gourmet dishes interesting and delicious. Would recommend it highly. They also have a restaurant in the airport with the same name and a few others with different names elsewhere in the Denver area.

We were there Sunday for brunch. They offer bottomless mimosas and they are huge! The eggs Benedict with Tasso ham and bernaise sauce on croissant was tasty as was the egg and sausage.

Love the look and the vibe at Root Down. The bar area is always busy and with good reason. It's a great place to get an appetizer or small plate to share with fantastic drinks! The atmosphere is relaxed and it's a cozy space. Sometimes...More

Service was spotty--in the bar first where they couldn't get a simple beer order correct or delivered quickly, and then at dinner. The place is busy and has a great vibe with the old service station aspect and great art on the walls. The dishes...More

Root Down is a very tightly packed venue with no major open space for a dog. As a dog owner, I wish US laws would be more like France where dogs in restaurants are a common event.

Unless we're going very early would try to find babysitter...is loud and crowded and unless your child is used to crowds would probably find somewhere else to go...many other restaurants around

Root Down aims to connect the neighborhood to a dining experience in the same way ingredients are connected to food. There should be a seamless bond between the elements and experience, which stimulates the senses and draws people in. Root Down serves “globally influenced seasonal cuisine,” which basically means we go where inspiration leads us. We’re not tied to one style or genre—we’re hoping to create one of our own. At Root Down we pride ourselves on striving to solve the ‘Omnivore’s Dilemma.’ We have created a dining spot where all dietary needs will be accommodated, including vegetarian, vegan, raw and gluten free; also allergies or intolerances are always handled professionally by the kitchen team. Our menu has icons reflecting this philosophy, though we always request you notify your server of specific needs. We look forward to seeing you soon!
