We have been fortunate to have high tea in several places throughout the US and England. This was our least favorite. The setting at The Brown Palace at Christmas was beautiful however the tables were so close together that I had to stand when the...More

I have been going to the Brown Palace for tea every year with my mother and sister, and it never disappoints. The wait staff are incredibly polite, and can easily "read" the mood at your table. They are incredibly accommodating of those with allergies, and...More

If you revel in the Royal sophistication of afternoon tea then indulging at The Brown Place will not disappoint. For the uninitiated it can be underwhelming and appear expensive. Finger sandwiches and dainty desserts are a far cry from the fare served at so many...More

The Palace is lovely. The selection of teas was interesting. The staff had been trained in a pleasantly elegant yet not aloof style. For the 2 of us, we shared 4 better than average scones, 6 finger sandwiches ( egg salad, tuna salad, cucumber, and...More

The Brown Palace Hotel is a remarkable old style historic property. The displays throughout the ground floor illustrate its illustrious history and it's significance in the development of Denver culture. High tea here is considered a genteel and sophisticated expression of that culture. My companion...More

I have been to tea in England and the one in the lobby of the Brown Palace compares favorably to Betty's in York. The service is impeccable, the ambiance is fantastic, the piano player is a nice soothing touch. The 3 tiers on the tray...More

Wow it was so much to go to tea at the Brown Palace! The tea was divine and the food was scrumptious, but the atmosphere made it a most memorable day with my mom and friends. It is definitely a great place to have tea!

Mariana and other staff are exceptional and I had a lovely time at tea. The warm scones were magical and I chose an excellent coconut matcha tea based on Mariana's recommendation. She didn't steer me wrong. The little desserts were decadent and this really is...More

Classic English tea with finger sandwiches, scones, Devonshire cream, and pastries. Attentive but unobtrusive service. Beautiful setting. Expected Lady Mary Crawley to arrive any moment. Relaxing afternoon after several hours at the Denver Art Museum.

I was with a group of friends to enjoy tea over the lunch hour. It was lovely and we all enjoyed ourselves. We sent a few requests to the pianist, who complied immediately. The variety of sandwiches and sweets made for delicious nibbling, and we...More

There is no dress code per se, but this is an elegant classy hotel, and you are served tea in the atrium. I would suggest "Sunday Best" as my daughter, two granddaughters, and I wore when we were there.
