Just on the corner of Old Town lies a small independent theatre/cafe where you can purchase a drink (even an alcoholic one) and snacks (like pork nachos) that you can munch on while enjoying a indie film. Come in on Saturday morning for classic cartoons like Looney Toons and Tom & Jerry as you munch on a free cereal buffet.... More

Great selection of movies you can't find at the big theater chains. Small screen for viewing and recycled seats but it works. Will be moving to a large venue soon. Didn't sample the food except for coffee drinks which were great.

The Lyric offers a variety of films that aren't playing at the bigger movie theaters. The environment is funky, casual and intimate. There are two theaters. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. There are plans to move to a new location north of town and I am looking forward to visiting the Lyric often.

Have been up to this cinema quite a few times with a group of friends. Interesting options for movies that you likely can't see at many other places. Most of all, the food is spectacular. Some pre/prepared and grilled or heated on the spot. Others fresh. I remember a tuna abd tarragon grilled cheese sandwich that was completely mouthwatering. You... More

I love seeing movies at Lyric, and having the option of a beer and a snack of higher quality than the usually movie theater fare. I also love having a theater in town that offers a somewhat different selection of movies than are available everywhere else. Looking forward to their move, but hoping they retain some of the funky atmosphere.

The Lyric is my favorite place to see a movie in Fort Collins. The food (real food, not cheap crap) is excellent, they offer the BEST candy selection, and the sangria is yummy! Also, where else can you sit on an old couch and watch a movie? The popcorn is fresh and you won't get sick after eating it.

Love, love, love to go here. Have been 6 times in as many weeks since I discovered it! Small niche movie theatre that works at not taking itself too seriously and thus does an outstanding job in delivering current artsy films in quick runs to maximize its two screens. Integrates community offerings like Saturday cereal/ cartoons for kids and a recent... More

...and cafe second. They have a small selection of local beers, some pretty good wines, and a high standard for the movies they select (including their high standard of bad movies on Bad Movie Night). Tickets are reasonable, and food, while expensive, is always delicious. I say expensive, but in relation to how much other theaters charge for their "food"... More

This place is nice and unique. They serve beer, wine, soda, and snacks to enjoy during the showing. The seating could be updated but it is not too terrible. Anytime we visit, it is an enjoyable time. The movie selections are limited but always interesting. Would return more often if the selection was a bit better.

Want a 1-of-a-kind movie experience? Try the Lyric! Seating is reminiscent of being at home. Good food awaits in the lobby with indoor and outdoor seating. We had a variety - beer brat, grilled cheese - but still didn't tap all the selections. Speaking of tap, lots of beer & wine selections plus coffee, tea, and sodas - even milk!... More
