This is in a small old building. The service was fine and they have the best bacon and sausage we've had in a long time. Please stop here and give them a try. Prices are very good.

I've written other very favorable reviews on this restaurant, when my wife and I went for breakfast I had the small breakfast burrito, it was OK at best my wife had the French toast, eggs, bacon. Her French toast was cold, couldn't melt butter on it, very dry, scrambled eggs were way over done, like rubber, bacon is bacon, service... More

I must have passed through Fort Garland a hundred times and never saw this place - at the main (only) junction in town. It is worth finding. Similar to a old diner ... on the outside and on the inside. Very clean. Very friendly. And the food was excellent. I had the taco salad and it was one of the... More

We stopped here on our way to Durango. Friendly staff, quick service, and good food at good prices. We both got tradional breakfast. My biscuit and gravy was creamy with good size chunks of sausage. The bacon is fried crispy, how I like it. The eggs were scrambled well. The hash browns were perfect! It's hard to find a place... More

A local dive, not much to look at but the food and service was great. We ordered bacon cheeseburger and fries. Burger was served on a soft sourdough bun, bacon cooked to perfection and nice size homemade patty burger. Fries were delicious too. Waiter had the sweetest smile and was very attentive.

We stopped at the cafe wanting to take a break and a sit down meal. The waitress was super busy and took care of all the diners with no complaints. She deserves 5 stars. The cafe was clean as was the restrooms. Food was good and I would stop there again.

This lil resturant is right in the center of old Fort Garland. Food is good and reasonable priced. Good place to stop.

Great food. Great service. Nice and clean little spot! French fries were perfect. The Philly cheese steak is good and the ranch makes it even better!

The sauce is a wonderful green chile sauce smothering delicious corn tamales. My friend had the chili rellenos and she said they were very very tasty. Another friend had the tostadas. He was very happy with them as well. The service was friendly. And the price not too expensive. The pies are to die for.

My husband had a hamburger, which was ok. But my tamales were terrible. I couldn't eat them. There was a sauce on them that I could not identify. We went here because it was rated the highest on Tripadvisor for this little town, but I cannot recommend it to fellow travelers. If you are hungry and stop here, then stick... More
