Fabulously tasty quality food

Went for Sunday lunch today with my family of 6 .. absolutely stunning food of city quality. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was fabulous and reasonably priced for the quality of food. Very highly recommended!

Outstanding

Proost is our fave restaurant, the food is always outstanding ,whether its lunchtime or evening. Delicious Sunday roast

Myself and my husband visited Proost today for Sunday lunch, from a warm welcome and attentive staff to a mouthwatering lunch, it was a real treat. We both had the lamb roast and it was faultless, the meat was melt in your mouth and all...the trimmings were delicious. Proost really is a local gem and we are lucky to have it on our doorstep.More

Excellent food , lovely staff.

We went on Saturday evening for a family meal. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The service was great and the food is on a different level compared to the average restaurant, it was superb. We will be back.

Great Sunday lunch

Great food, good atmosphere.

Proost delivered on the high expectations anticipated. Everything, from the moment we walked into when we left, was top quality. The food delivered was extremely well presented and good value for money even though the restaurant is fairly expensive. The menu was clearly thought out,...and the choice was very varied. The inexperience of the staff showed a little bit, but it is that time of year when weekend staff tend to be new in post but they were still very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely and we felt cared for. A three hundred pound bill for 6 people with four bottles of wine was good value for the high standard. Well worth a revist. Thank youMore

Tastiest food in town!!

First time dining at Proost and we will definitely be returning. We were a group booking of 10 and not one of us were disappointed with our meals. I can honestly say it's was the nicest tastiest food I hav eaten in a long time!!...Really carnt wait to come back to sample more delicious meals off the menu!!More

Fabulous!!

This was our first visit to Proost, we went as a group of six for dinner. The food was fabulous, from the starters right through to the desserts. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavours were just amazing! The servers were very attentive and...friendly. We will definitely be back for more 😍More

A fabulous meal at Proost

This was a brilliant chateaubriand meal for 2. The steak was so tender and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable evening.

Excellent Food

Went for anniversary celebratory dinner. I had lamb and husband had a steak. Food was excellent and served by two very friendly servers. Will definitely be returning.

Visit Sunday 27th August

Our first visit with friends and it did not disappoint at all. Service - we received a warm and friendly welcome from staff that were attentive and helpful throughout Menu and food - Sunday lunch with good options available . All courses served were of...a high standard and the food was lovely. We had heard a lot about the restaurant and it not only met but surpassed expectations and we will definitely be back to sample some of the other menus that are available. Highly recommended.More
