    A great place to eat and have a drink in Golden

    The bartender, Brooke, was great and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the bbq burger with pulled pork and bacon.

    Great food

    We sat outside here after our Coors Brewery Tour. The smoked meats were awesome. We had good service, and our whole family really enjoyed the meal. It’s such a cute downtown area, and we went to some of the shops after dinner.

    Rustic Cool Restaurant

    Upon entering the restaurant, the historical setting was very comfortable. Service staff were friendly and competent. Food was cooked to perfection. Drinks are always filled.

    Our Place is Yours: Old Capitol Grill & Smokehouse has become one of Colorado’s favorite eateries for locals and visitors alike. The Capitol offers up a full menu of on-site smoked meats, classic American fare, featuring our housemade dishes with some unique twists, in an historic setting. We have brought back some of the grandeur of the building from its heyday as the capitol building of the Colorado Territory and in celebration of Colorado’s beauty. The colors, light fixtures and wall art are reflective of the mid-1800s period, when Colorado’s Territorial Legislature met within its walls.
