We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to shop and have lunch. The lunch was fantastic. My wife had the quiche and I had the ham and Gruyere cheese baguette. The quiche was thick and fluffy. The baguette was fresh and very tasty. The coffee was excellent too. Do not pass up the desserts. We had the peach croissant. Out... More

This Victorianesque restaurant is housed in a historic building on Main Street in Longmont that is crammed full of food, everything Parisian, and a chilled cheese room filled with cheese from around the world. The building is steeped in character. It has what looks to be an large, original bar, and a beautifully made staircase. I took my friend for... More

For cheese lovers, it doesn't get any better. And the French onion soup is perfect. Overall ambience, especially upstairs, is a real treat for anyone who hasn't been to France, and it's most enjoyable to those of us who don't get to visit France often enough.

We went to Cheese Importers when friends celebrated their engagement, and had the whole upstairs for the occasion. The staff was very friendly and the service great. We have gone there since then and were not let down. It looks like the downstairs and patio are the usual restaurant areas and the upstairs are only used for overflow and/or group... More

I went here with my mom and sister, who had both been here previously. I trusted their judgment, but "cheese warehouse" + "lunch" + "fabulous shopping" seemed like an odd combination. I have to say, Cheese Importers pulls it off! As stated by others, the place is a quirky, two-floor Francophile's paradise. Tons of French, or French inspired products (culinary... More

My husband and I stopped by for delicious pastries and, of course, to pick up some cheese. We love to eat here and experience the ambiance. I highly recommend this place.

Not only do they have every kind of cheese on the planet, they have other food stuffs and lots of cooking and dining merchandise AND a French themed cafe/bistro where the lunch is rumored to be excellent. If you a a free hour it is a great place to just wander around.

Wonderful experience on a busy Saturday for lunch. Had to wait just a few minutes to get to the bistro counter where you order food and drinks. Pay there and they bring you your food. We sat upstairs and took in all the sights, it's like a French attic. Coffee was strong and flavorful. French onion soup very good, and... More

Surprisingly wonderful place in what we "Right Coast" elites (hah! hah!) would call "no-where-ville". Exceptional in every way in our opinion. Menu is great, food is very good, there is a liquor bar!, drinks are good and served all day, and even the household wine is good. The cheese shop is climate controlled and a delight. There are many things... More
