To begin with, Longmont is absolutely charming in general. The people are friendly and the City has done a remarkable job with parks, open spaces and amenities. Then you add in Cheese Importers and it is charm overload. With both inside and outside dining, you can feel like you have stepped into a charming Paris bistro with delicious food and... More

Great place to shop for gifts or just for yourself. A classic old two-story building charmingly decorated and packed with gourmet goodies - from France, Italy and other countries, a full refrigerated room of cheeses (coats available to wear if you wish), lots of kitchen/dining and general household items to complement the foods, and two dining areas with a good... Cheese Importers is a great stop to take out of town guests. The selection of cheeses and French bakery items is outstanding. Enjoy lunch with a glass of wine and pick up some unique gifts for upcoming holidays. You will never get tired of visiting this charming shop.

I have been going here for years and never thought to review but here it is.....you must go just to put on one of their loaner jackets to go into their huge refrigerator and tour the abundance of cheeses and other items from around the world. You could virtually have an entire appetizer just sampling their cheeses, sausages and delightful... More

This is such a unique and fun place. The food is really good and unique. The outside patio is great, but only in warm weather. And, after you eat you can browse through this store where everything is from France, and maybe other similar countries. Their merchandise is all of high quality. I'm sure you've already heard of their walk-in... More

The menu was varied and interesting, the food fresh and delicious. The shop was filled with interesting items. I just wish I had had more time to browse. The associated cheese... More

This place is a hidden gem In a town where brew pubs and chain restaurants are everywhere. Yes there is cheese and more than you can imagine in one place. The cheeses are in a walk in cooler along with salamis, crackers, olives and jams. Jackets are provided. Stepping out of the cooler you will be transported to a bistro... More
