Visiting from the Houston area and walked around town trying to figure out where to eat. Asked a few people, but most everyone else were tourists too and didn't know. We gambled and tried the Mexican restaurant as nothing else seemed to be agreeable to me and my traveling companion. No regrets! The food and menu is a bit different... More

Good Food and Margaritas, no Fired Ice Cream. It's like McDonalds being out of French Fries. It was a good visit but overall not great. I will visit a restaurant/ Mexican next time that has Fried Ice Cream a staple, disappointed!!!

We were actually visiting a restaurant across the street. There wasn't a line, but for some reason, they wouldn't pay attention to us, So, we left and saw The Loop. Ironically, there was a line to wait for a table, but the staff tried very hard to get us seated as soon as possible. The food was excellent and the... More

I can't believe I haven't stopped here before in my past trips to pikes peak. Great Tex mex style food! The street tacos were amazing and I can't wait to go back and try them again. The hostess was very professional and friendly....although only being 16 years old. The environment was really nice and warm and I believe they had... More

Authentic Mexican food. Hearty and very plentiful portions. Try it for lunch, they close during some season early.

The temperature dropped like a rock and we opted to eat somewhere close to the hotel. They had a blazing fire going which was perfect as big fat snow was falling outside. We had sizzling chicken fajitas with excellent pico and guacamole, too. I had tamales and a chili rellenos with rice and beans. Everything we ate was spiced right,... More

Wonderful staff that provided excellent customer service. We had 14 in our group and food came out at some time hot and tasty. Nicely done!

Good Mexican food, many margaritas to choose from, plenty of other liquids to choose from. We had appetizers, bacon wrapped shrimp and nachos, both were great. Close to downtown.

Cheese filling in chili relleno tasted like rubber. Also was cold. Tasted like it was previously frozen, not fresh as expected. Restaurant carpeting is filthy. Decor and furnishings are ugly and dated. Same as 20 years ago. Bathrooms are old, dirty. It's about time this restaurant sink $ into updating. I am a local. Will not be back.

I wasn't really hungry so I may not be a good reviewer, but I got a salad and the helpings of guac and sour cream were huge. The salad was very good. The people I was in loved their food as well and they all got different things. Portions were big.
