Had the grill plate with Elk, Bison and Quail. All three were delicious. Perfectly cooked to my liking. Hats off to the Chef! Perfect business environment for our foreign visitors.

We had never eaten here before and decided to try it for our anniversary dinner. The food is very good, they try to offer old Colorado style food. We both ordered the Buffalo Prime Rib and it was excellent.

Very good food and a nice diverse menu. Steaks were excellent. A cool place to walk around and read history and also a nice area to have a drink while you wait to be seated. Very nice outdoor seating in good weather, with a nice view of distant Denver. Maybe a bit overpriced.

Out for a delayed Valentine's visit with my wife and our son and his family. Both my wife and I had the beef tenderloin - excellent, melt in your mouth good. Excellent staff and service. One of the best in the area.

This replica of Bents' Old Fort is the perfect place to relax in a classy old west atmosphere. We went with some friends and had wonderful Bison prime rib and fillets! Cooked just as ordered, with sides that were flavorful. Our appetizers were unique and good tasting, we ordered the Bison eggs which were hard boiled Quail eggs wrapped in... More

Took my boss here for dinner to showcase where I live. We arrived early enough to request a seat by the window (unfortunately the weather interrupted the view). We were quickly greeted and multiple suggestions were given which was helpful to the guests. Dinner arrived with plenty of time In between appetizers. Steaks were cooked to perfection and sides were... More

My wife and I were treated to this locale by dear friends and it was Wonderful. Historians plate with Pickled jalapeños, stuffed with peanut butter? Great! Rocky Mountain Oysters? Yep. They weren't bad. If you didn't know what these are, you'll like em. Prickly Pear margarita? Excellent. Some Chocolate dessert that I can't remember... if I wasn't full would get... More

My wife and I hosted a dinner for my daughters wedding party. Ordered off the menu selection, and the food were great. Besides having a great time, in a room that overlooked Denver. Our waiter and staff were GREAT. Will do this again with a bunch of our friends

Situated in the Red Rocks country 17 miles southwest of Denver on Hwy 285, The Fort is a true replica of Bent's Fort, the first American community west of the Missississippi & rendezvous of Kit Carson & other "Mountain Men". The nine dining rooms, seating 350, are white plastered over adobe. Unusual but hearty dishes, typical of the early West, are provided from open grills. Waugh!
