Specializing in regional game, such as bison, elk and quail, as well as seasonal fish and hearty vegetarian fare influenced by American Indian and Mountain Man cuisine, The Fort’s creation of “New Foods of the Old West,” brings back popular recipes from the 19th century, prepared with a twist. My wife and I have been to The Fort in the past and though expensive, thought our dining experience was worth the price, but not last night. The location and kitsch, though endearing, mountain-man ambience is one reason to go there-maybe the only reason. Last...More

It is a great tourist stop for out of town guests and business entertaining, but the cost have gotten very pricey for family entertaining. Big price to pay for history.

There is no dress code. Anything from nice jeans to suit would be appropriate. I would personally not wear shorts or exercise clothes. It is a great place to celebrate birthdays, or date nights.
