This is a family owned Mexican place with friendly service and a good variety in the menu. All of the standards are available, along with some nice sea food items--like the shrimp in a creamed sauce. The prices are reasonable, the guantity good, and the quality consistent. The Cadillac Margarita is especially good.

Finally good Mexican food in Buena Vista. Warm chips, home made salsa, decent portions, but not too large or cheesy. Easy to find right on Hwy 24. Decor is that of an old diner, so pretty dated.. Service was friendly and attentive.

This is a small restaurant attached to a gas station near Poncha Springs on hiway 50. It's pretty basic, and is similar to many Mexican restaurants: large helpings, lots of melted cheese, iceberg lettuce and refried beans. I generally order Chile rellenos to test whether the food is good or not at such a restaurant, and theirs was pretty good.... More

We stopped in here on a Saturday for a late breakfast. We were at a garage sale and asked who serves breakfast. This place was recommended. Good idea. The restaurant name means Sunflowers. The furniture reflects this theme. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We ordered our meals and the food arrived fairly fast. It was good, not OMG good,... More

We all really enjoyed our dinners of a variety of traditional Mexican entrees and I loved the bufferfly shrimp cooked in a light garlic butter sauce. The grilled mushrooms and tomatoes served with the shrimp were amazing. We'd definitely return again if in the area.

Another place that the locals frequent. Friendly folks with great food, and fast service. Since we worked right down the street from here, we ate lunch here at least once a week. Great place to fuel up after a day of skiing at Monarch.

This used to be the Poncha Truck Stop. Now it's a Mexican restaurant. The family that runs it is VERY nice, the food is a good value and the tables and chairs which are hand carved and painted with sunflowers are really really cool. My favorite dish is the burrito Colorado. My dad likes the cheese burrito.
