Gary's Coors Tavern is a walk in the past it is a piece of history that keeps people coming back. Their sloppers is what sets the board for other restaurants to strive for. Their green chili is tasty but not so hot you can't enjoy it. This is an all weather meal that will have you coming back because you... More

I went to Gray's with a co-worker for lunch. They have a long tradition of serving in Pueblo. They are known for their green chili sloppers. So, that is what we ordered. Quick service. The café has a unique atmosphere. The high walls are covered with the baseball glove's of local high school ball players. Those who had a 4.0... More

I truthfully cannot say if the food is good or bad...had to seat myself waited 15 minutes went to the bar for beers...waited 15 minutes...still no acknowledgement. So me and my friends got up and left....drank a free pitcher and got chitty service. Won't be back...so what if it's historical.... lousy service is lousy service ....if there was less than... More

We live 60 miles away, but we eat here when we can. Cheeseburger does not come with fries, which I appreciate. Their way is with dill pickle relish and mustard, stay with that. And they make a Bloody Beer just right. Try to avoid the noon time rush.

Not only was the atmosphere cool but the service was friendly, fast, fun and over all excellent! To top it off the food was great! The nacho appetizer was huge, full of yummy red chili and other great toppings. The hand pressed burgers and hand cut fries were tasty and fresh. The price was excellent! If your looking for a... This is the Home of the Slopper! This bar originated the cheeseburger covered in chili, green or red, many years ago. Good, cheap and consistent, this friendly place offers delicious homemade fries, juicy burgers and some Mexican food offerings, and plenty cold beer, this is just the right place for good food, attentive service, and occasional live music. A large... More

I've been to the other tavern that claims to also have the best "slopper" in Pueblo. What is it? An open faced cheeseburger smothered in green chili! Yum! Why did I like it better? Tastier green chili!

The go to place for a slopper! Best there is! Plenty of green chile and fries on top of open-cheese burger! All fresh made!

Slopper was smothered in chili made of too much flour. Seemed dirty throughout. We definitely won't return. Service was slow.

A simple, and old, bar atmosphere that feels the same. Pay attention to the decor and see if you can get a story of two out of the staff. Ask for the only thing that matters....The Slopper! Open faced burger and fries smothered in Green chili is awesome!
