Tia place served good Mexican food, and the margaritas we had were fantastic. The folks working there were nice. It is in a great location. I would recommend going if you are in the mood for some delicious Mexican food and drinks!!

Especially "Mexican" food (which in a lot of ways is truly "American" food; as in , from the Americas. But Silverton gets restaurant supplies just like any other town, and it's really up to the cooks to make it shine. I'm... More

Great food and friendly service. They make a great Margarita to go with authentic Mexican food. Enjoyed the family history of the restaurant when first started 40 some years. Still family owned and opporated.

Had a huge meal here; 1 taco, 1 enchilada, 1 burrito plus guac and chips. All the calories and salt a person needs after riding for 8 days on the Colorado Trail. Left feeling pregnant. :)

My husband, my toddler and myself were greeted and seated quickly but the waitress took a while to get to us and it wasn't overly busy. I tried the house maragita and ordered my son's food asap as he was very... More

We stopped in for lunch before getting back on the train to Durango...we were able to get seating for 10 right away. There seemed to be just 3 staff waiting tables but they were all friendly, accommodating and helpful, and we could tell they were working very hard to take care of everybody. Once we realized we wouldn't have enough... More

I've been visiting Silverton for over 20 years. Even when the trains departed and most of the town would close shop, Romeros would still be open into the evening serving it's delicious Mexican entrees. I took my wife here as she has never eaten here. We arrived after the last train had left the town and we had the restaurant... More
