Great ambiance. And great food too. Burgers are thick and juicy and very tasty. Friendly wait staff. Best in town and recommended to me by a few folks.

We had a party of about 30 people. Our waitress was so quick! There weren't any vegetarian choices, but a salad, stuffed mushrooms and a beer hit the spot (the place does say "grill" after all and suggests it is a burger/steak place). Everyone else said the other choices were delicious. If you want a place with a fantastic wait... More
What a lovely restaurant in the middle of a large town. The hostess and server was great! Very friendly and quick. Husband's bacon, avocado, Swiss burger was big and juicy. My tuna melt was big, but I didn't care for the American cheese. I would've preferred a choice of bread, but it wasn't a deal breaker. We'd stop here again.
We were heading to Denver from Chadron, NE and came across Gallagher's. The reviews were good so we decided to give it a try and we were glad we stopped. There isn't much you can say about a hamburger but it was delicious. Would return next time we're in the area.
I had a French Dip sandwich was good but not what I ordered! I ordered a Philly Steak and Cheese. When I pointed this out to the bartender, she just said, I thought you ordered the French Dip". No effort to fix it. Prices were reasonable and place seemed clean but I never went to the toilet (which a sure... More
We were so happy with the dinner during our May stop that we had to stop in again. I love their Colorado trout. Most dinner are a la carte, just a nice roll with it. Sides are affordable as well as cocktails. A pint of local beer is $3.50 and a decent Sauvignon blanc was $6. The staff is friendly... More
Gallagher's was a nice surprise. When you visit a small town, you just don't know what to expect, and I did not expect to enjoy my meal as much as I did! Reasonably priced, and for the sports fanatics, a couple of large big-screen tv's to watch while you're dining.
The service was great. The atmosphere was pleasing. We had super great meals served exactly as we requested. Our server was polite and professional in appearance.
We enjoyed the restaurant and had a nice meal that was very reasonable. Limited wine choices and the decor is very plain. It's quite large, so even though the parking lot is full, the restaurant wasn't crowded. Probably the best choice in Sterling.
