Bob Vivant gets everything right; amazing location, superb staff, and incredible French food. Pro tip: Bon Vivant is the best place to eat on a beautiful sunny day, so make sure to stop by early to snag a spot. They don't take reservations, but you can put your name on the waitlist and take a few runs in the interim.... More

We dined al fresco. Rabbit stew was really special. We also had the cheese platter and substituted with apples slices for the crackers. The service was not as attentive as Alpino Vino, but still acceptable. Major issue at both, water $10 a bottle. Unless you are accustomed to traveling abroad, this is a bit of a shock.

This place is so special. Al fresco dining at 11,000 feet. Nothing like a champagne toast with that view surrounding you. The mushroom soup en croute and French onion soup (add the short rib!) are amazing, and I crave them for a year until I am back again.

Great place at mid-mountain (top of Polar Queen Express lift). Can get pretty busy in nice weather as it is outside seating only, but they raise a giant umbrella and fire up the heaters if it is overcast. The food is great! I highly recommend the mushroom soup which is unlike any other you may have had. The staff is... More

Went there twice during our week at Telluride. Excellent views and a great place to stop for drinks late in the day. Service was mixed with problems having clean glassware but can't complain about views - spectacular

Today was our second intent in trying to enjoy well known Bon Vivant, but again the nasty staff behaved like if they wanted to get rid of customers. The line was not long but was a mess, the listing was out of control, the staff wasn't helping at all, they showed no manners to people trying to understand their chances... More

This place is truly special. Excellent European style lunch with incredible mountain views. Mushroom soup and Croque Madam with rosemary ham was superb! Atmosphere and vibe is fantastic. For sunny slope side lunch experience is hard to beat!

This is such a great lunch spot! We went on a day that they were running low on most of the menu items, but despite that it proved to be fabulous! We had the cheese tray...loved! The agave truffle nectar was to die for! We had one French Onion soup and one of the mushroom soups. They were very good... More

Bon Vivant restaurant at the top of Polar Queen Lift at a Telluride is a must for at least one ski day. Decidedly french in offerings, the quality is superb and the portions are ample. The GIANT umbrella that is unfurled if needed depending on the weather, is unique and very cool. The service was very good and not rushed.... More
