Oh my...traveling south on I-25 from Denver to Albuquerque in a motor home followed by our family including two toddlers in a mini van, finding a place to eat (other than fast food) on a Sunday night in Trinidad, CO was rather challenging. Our family of six were the first patrons to be seated soon followed by several others. The... More

Housed in a 19th century church, this interesting restaurant presents authentic southern Italian food. The owner, a restauranteer from Las Vegas also sings, as did our waitress. Try the homemade pasta, such as the wild mushroom ravioli. Worth the stop.

I have been here 3 times, and always had great service and good food. The owner can sing Italian opera. Must of the waitstaff sings pop, country and jazz. The children will love the live entertainment. When the owner sings Nessum Dorma or Core N'grato, you almost want to yell bravo. But, don't, LOL. The cocktails are good. I had... More

I looked back on my reviews and realized I hadn't put one in for this restraunt and I need to because it is by far the greatest atmosphere for a restraunt I've ever come across! My family and I eat here every time we're in Trinidad, which is about twice a year, as its our halfway meeting point for extended... More

This restaurant is a real treat! It is old school hospitable. The menu is varied and what restaurant serves a salad as part of the meal without charging extra for it?! It was not the average lettuce, tomatoes cucumber and onion. The salad also included beets, and carrots. My husband had spaghetti and meats balls and I had chicken piccata.... More

The interior of this restaurant, in an old church, is quite charming, as is the idea of the singing waiters. However, the decibel level of the music is overwhelming and makes conversation nearly impossible, which detracts from the otherwise lovely atmosphere. Servers were friendly and prompt. When the salads (both house and ceaser) arrived, they were swimming in the dressing.... More

Being up tight Brits from out of town we struggled with the concept of singing waiters, but this restaurant seemed to be the only place open downtown on a Wednesday. This was actually a good thing as the food was really very nice being a fusion of Italian and Mexican influences; I had the shrimp (read king prawn if you... More

Saturday night dinner. Called and talked to the owner and he assured us they do not use MSG in their food and sauces. I had the chicken piccata and it was great! My wife had the mahi mahi and she found it too strong of a fish flavor. Maybe fish in Trinidad CO is asking too much. The added veggies... More

Description
Wonderful Italian food with a hint of southwest. Most of the waiters sing a solo with recorded music at various times during the evening and they are really really good!!
