Working in Vail, Big Bear Bistro is a great lunch spot especially when your friends come to visit. The service was excellent (from the kitchen staff-not so much the lady at the register) and the food was yummy. Great little cozy spot and they serve beer, wine and lattes so something for everyone! I'll def be going back.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat before walking to the Betty Ford Alpine Garden. The tuna salad sandwich was very tasty and filled me up. My husband had the breakfast burrito and loved it. The coffee was very good as well. We ate inside because it was only 45 degrees outside (October weather), but if it was... More

This is a great little place in the middle of Vail village. We had sandwiches and basil tomato soup - fresh and tasty food surprised us to be honest. Very friendly staff, laid back atmosphere makes this small place special.

We ate lunch on their little patio, which is very small but surrounded with beautiful flowers! The sandwiches were excellent.

We stopped here for breakfast .. It was very average ... Service was basically none existent . And very little effort was put into food preparation and presentation and service ... They really don't try to hard because there isn't a lot to chose from and was way too expensive for they presented to us ... 3 stars is generous

We had lunch here during our stay in Vail. They use Boar Head meats on their sandwiches. They had a nice selection of beverages and great espresso too. Our son loved his grilled cheese and our daughter enjoyed the green pork chili. The sandwiches were a little pricey, but it is Vail and it seemed to be fairly priced for... More

This place never disappoints. They serve good sized portions, plated beautiful, of quality ingredients. This is some of the best food in Vail. Pricing is fair. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it.
