Had lunch here a couple of times - amazing sandwiches. Coffee is pretty decent too. One thing I done;'t like though is when you use a credit card at the counter, they turn the device around and ask you to sign and a great big tip sign there. I decline and feel guilty for a minute and then think -... More

Here's a great place for lunch with good soups and sandwiches, a local vibe and reasonable prices. It's definitely worth coming off the mountain to avoid madness of the on-mountain lodges, if you have the time. And perfect for your rest day, late day, or short day.

Big Bear Bistro has a fantastic location right by Gondola One, making it very easy to grab breakfast on the way to ski or a quick sandwich once you get off of the mountain. They have very hearty portions for the price, so it's a great deal. The menu can be a little overwhelming because there is so many options... More

Stopped on for a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes. Found a good breakfast burrito (nothing special) but the croissant French toast was out of this world. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend dropping in before a day on the slopes.

This was a perfect spot in Vail Village to get eggs, pancakes, and bagel sandwiches on days we didn't want our hotel's buffet breakfast. We got it as takeout, and they did a great job packing everything up so it was easy for us to eat in our room. Everyone was happy with their order and the coffee was good... More

A quaint little restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. The croissant French toast is the best! Their presentation is surprisingly lovely. The staff is friendly and orders are received quickly. You won't be disappointed.

Took a break from skiing and stoped by for lunch for some epic sandwiches. The BLAT was awesome, and the chef salad was equally as good. Beats the prices and better food than you get on the mountain.

Working in Vail, Big Bear Bistro is a great lunch spot especially when your friends come to visit. The service was excellent (from the kitchen staff-not so much the lady at the register) and the food was yummy. Great little cozy spot and they serve beer, wine and lattes so something for everyone! I'll def be going back.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat before walking to the Betty Ford Alpine Garden. The tuna salad sandwich was very tasty and filled me up. My husband had the breakfast burrito and loved it. The coffee was very good as well. We ate inside because it was only 45 degrees outside (October weather), but if it was... More
