They seated us a table of nine. We had the nicest Australian server. He was able to describe any of the meals and questions that we had with humor and experience. The steak must be cooked sous vide style because it just melts in your mouth. The sides were all top notch. Brussels sprouts and kimchi was the most amazing... More

You must try the Elk Corndogs to start then go straight to the Kobe beef selections. The lamb was pretty good as well but if you have never experienced Kobe this is a great place to start. Absolutely Delightful.

It was off season in Vail so we tried out The Flame in the Four Seasons Hotel as they were having a dinner special. We started off with caesar salads. They had the right amount of dressing and a good-sized portion, not skimpy. On the recommendation of our server, one of us ordered the 10oz Flat Iron Steak with Anzo... More

Sorry for common superlatives... but they fit. Out server Andy was top notch. Explained menu, options, and specials perfectly. Our other servers were top notch as well. We all ordered filet's and they did them all to perfection. We were provided the while assortment of sauces and all were delicious. Almost passed on dessert, but did a 3 way split... More

It was the service that was so bad, and the food came to the table much too cold. What else is there to say while at this kind of of a restaurant you await first class service and first class food. The service was much too slow and the food came to table too cold. The quality of food itself... More

Dear Kauniit, Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am very sorry that your dining experience did not live up to not only your expectations, but to our own. We pride ourselves on very attentive service and great food and I am disappointed to know that we did not deliver. I would love an opportunity to speak with... More

We ate here for 4 mornings in a row. We had our 4 month old in a stroller and they always gave us a table that would accommodate him. We got the buffet each morning and the staff were always willing to carry our plates to our table.

We were staying over the weekend and visited this steak house in the hotel on Saturday night. Food was amazing. My broiled octopus was tender and flavorful and elk corn dog good too. Steak was done perfectly & diver scallops were very fresh. Server and assistant were friendly & Received prompted service.

Flame is an atmospheric restaurant with a fantastic wine list. Primarily a steak restaurant which really delivers on quality. The Porterhouse shared between two was plenty but not too much even for slightly wimpy British appetites. That said it was a truly fantastic piece of steak, one of the best I've ever had. Not cheap but really worth it!

Description
Make dining fun again. Four Seasons Resort Vail has reinvented Flame Restaurant with inventive twists on classic steakhouse favorites. Start off by tempting your palate with elk corndogs and a duo of dipping sauces, indulgent sides, such as truffled comte fritters with wild mushroom and bacon ragout, or satisfy your sweet tooth with maple bacon doughnuts with cherry bourbon compote. Of course, our menu still offers a variety of prime steak selections, like the 32-ounce dry-aged Waygu Ribeye, which is cooked to perfection under our 1,800 degree custom broiler, paired with house-made sauces and carved tableside.
