Good food,a bit expensive. All the entrees come in sandwich format. Would be nice to be served at a more sophisticated format given the price. Having said that the meal was good and well seasoned. For starters, dont miss the shrimp and calamari crispy (not in sandwich format).

Great service, very unique recipes, great wine list, the suggestions by the waitress were spot on. When you go, make sure you try the toffee rum cake! It has been on their menu for many many years and after tasting it, I can see why it is one of their specialities! This is a must when visiting Vail!

This place is amazing, was in Vail over MLK weekend, left the kids in the hotel and me and my wife went out. The snapper was amazing, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was Fantastic.

Interesting menu and nice typical Vail setting. Waiter seemed a bit annoyed at our request for detail on preparation and seeking his guidance (like gee: just order and trust us). All in all a good meal and we will return soon.

Everyone seems to love Sweet Basil and now I know why! We went for lunch and did not have a reservation on NY weekend. The host sat us in the front by the windows looking out into Vail village. The bar was open so worst case we would have asked to sit at bar and been fine but it was... More

While pricey it is WELL WORTH IT. Great food, excellent service, even the bartenders helped with a creative cocktail or 2. Reservations are challenging so book early. Sweet Basil is our ALL TIME FAVORITE in Vail.

We really enjoyed Sweet Basil! My dad unfortunately could only join us for a brief time because he is sick, but they were very accommodating, gave us the best table in the house, and made it a memorable experience!

Ate at Sweet Basil over MLK weekend and was pleased to discover that it is still excellent. Great ambiance, food, and service.

This is a lovely restaurant BUT the food is overrated. The service, let's just say aloof. They seemed to make us feel like we didn't belong there. Will not return.

We finally were able to dine at this restaurant, with reservations always being at a premium. The Brussels Sprouts, olives and bruschetta were great starters as we enjoyed our cocktails with home made sour dough. Entrees were stone bass, salmon, chicken and the onion and fig pasta. While this is a top Culinary restaurant because of the fusion of spices... More
