We enjoyed our dinner at Montauk's. They offer one of the best tasting mussel dishes I've ever had. Portions are large, though the prices are on the higher side. Though with Vail it would be the average price range. Server was friendly and efficient.

We were somewhat dubious about seafood in Vail. But the oysters were fresh, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. Portions were generous for a restaurant at this price point. Drinks were stiff. Would go back.

Tucked away in Lionshead, ti is not the most convenient restaurant to find. While the menu offers fresh fish selection, having been there several times, no meal was so good that I could not wait to come back. The service was friendly and the outside...More

We attended a private party at Montauk and enjoyed superior service and food. I could not finish my prawns and the wife had a tasty tenderloin. The bar is large and well stocked including many bourbons and scotches plus a broad wine list.

There is a good selection of fish and seafood. The scallops were superb. Fried calamari was excellent. I had the bisque for an appetizer and was just OK. The service was a little slow but on par for the resort. Prices are also in line...More

I had dined here several years ago and was underwhelmed by the food and the price. My family decided to try it again since it is under new management. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. The menu...More

New owner, better food. That about sums in up. We had reservations for 6 but ended up being 7 and they made a table for us in 5 minutes. Place was not packed ( neither was the mountain). Started with oysters which were fine but...More

I am not sure. Their fish and seafood choices change with seasons, so check before you go.
