They used to have a great buffet. The sesame chicken was ok, the egg rolls are great, but the fried rice was not good at all.

We had a lunch at this small restaurant. Although it is small seating area, you never have to wait to be seated. Also take out is easy when you call in your order. This is a family type restaurant. Chinese food like Mexican food can be very polarizing depending on the region it's from and what you're used to. The food here is good but the menu is limited compared to some Chinese restaurants. I qualify my review by telling you that I grew up on the East Coast and am probably more used to East Coast "Americanized" Chinese food. I LOVE Chinese food !!!!!!! I have probably tried AT LEAST 30 or 40 Chinese restaurants in the Denver...metro area, and NEW CANTON is by FAR the best I have found for my tastes!!!!! I gauge Chinese restaurants by their Wonton Soup. New Canton's Wonton Soup is the BEST in the Denver area. As an aside, Wonton Soup is NOT a vegetable soup — never was and never should be. I LOVE a good General Tso's Chicken, and especially General Tso's Shrimp. And while the shrimp version isn't even mentioned on New Canton's menu, they always prepare this for me without ANY hesitation. Their take out fried rice is very good as well — something I can't say about most other Chinese restaurants in the area. The staff is always friendly and on top of their game. My family has been coming here for a long long time, we always eat here for family get togethers and it's the go to spot for us to eat out. The family who owns are very friendly and put amazing work into this place. My...family and I have never been disappointed with the food! Its perfect every time! A group of us ate here and everyone thought it was great. The owner is hands on helping with everything. The restaurant is clean and very neat with a pleasant smell. The lunch menu is very complete with all the dishes that are available at...most Chinese restaurants. I had a beef dish which was excellent. Also the sweet and sour shrimp was great with the shrimp being really tender and tasteful. We will return many times in the future. They have an easy entrance for wheelchairs and walkers.More

I used to order takeout from this place all the time, but the past few visits (over the last 6 months or so) have been very disappointing. The owner is the same, so I'm not sure what has changed. . . new cooks, ingredients, etc?...In any case, the "sesame" dishes-- chicken, tofu, etc. now have a very odd, acidic flavor. No real depth; almost sweet and sour tasting. Same for the hot and sour soup. The dining room also smells kind of like the sauce and soup -- acerbic and stale. I might try it again in a couple of months to see if anything has changed. Otherwise will definitely seek out other options, including the dollar-a-scoop place up the street!More

We love the food, the service and most of all the pot stickers! Even my kids don't like to eat chinese anywhere else!
