We were at Captain's Cove to see the Bernadettes today as we have many times in the past except for the fact the band was upstairs because of the weather. We had a table and had a beer and were there from about 2:15 pm onwards. After about an hour or so we got up to dance and were having... More

This is a nice place to visit even when it's "off-season." During the summer the restaurant offers a decent selection of food and there are bands that provide music but during the other times of the year you can enjoy the quietness of the dock. Also during the summer there are a few shops along the walkway with different interesting items.

If you like fried fish, this is a good choice. If you like seaports and the views they afford, this is a good choice. If you like crowds, dancing and young people, this is a good choice. Attached to one of Bridgeport's "great" spots, this restaurant adds a great moment to this tourist destination. The food is consistent and I... More

Captain's Cove Seaport Restaurant is a fun, happening place to sit by the water, enjoy a drink or two and have some really good seafood. It's not fancy, but boy is is a fun time. Games and live music and all kinds of cool stuff to take fun pictures with. We had a great time yesterday. We enjoyed the fried... More

My wife and I went for fish and chips and to enjoy the evening by the water. Was an inexpensive night with nice music and relaxing setting.

If you like fried food then this is your place-it is a nice family eatery and wish they had healthier choices on the menu such as broiled or baked. They do have steamers and lobster and mussels. Their salads are a healthier choice but I still would like to see some broiled scallops or cod with a baked potato or... More

Great location, food and music. Menu has a big selection, if u like seafood, visit Captain Cove. Also, do a little shopping.

First of all, the view was beautiful. The boats were fun to look at while you dined. If you are a fan of fried seafood, you will be satisfied! The menu had kids' options which did not include seafood. The children's food was served in a travel cardboard box with fries and a snack. There are docks where you can... More

Sitting by the dock of the bay is alright but if you have some good food available it would be even better. There are no healthy choices here. Even the pretzels and fried food items leave a bad taste in the mouth of a food lover. Totally distateful
