Headlines: + Fresh + Healthy + Unique Flavors + Friendly + Special Diets and Allergies + Cooked to perfection + Absolutely Delicious! Comments: Met a group of friends here - we ordered one of at least half of all the menu items. Every single person raved about every single item. The Lentil Soup with fresh cilantro was one of the... to enjoy tapas you need a group of people, order more food than you think you will eat, and then eat it all. We were 5 people, including a vegetarian. we had the octopus, calamari, squash soup, flat bread with wild mushrooms ( in fact we had two of them), a Cuban sandwich (not really tapas), pork sliders, and a... Let's start with the lovely Marjorie and Krisa, who will make you smile the second you walk into the bar. Whether you're waiting for a table or dining at the bar, the drinks are strong and the service is excellent. The Latin inspired tapas are an incredible mixture of arepas, ceviche, tostones, empanadas and more. And the chef's creation of... More

So my wife and I love the place. The atmosphere is great and intimate. The menu is a Tapas style so if you aren't ready for that and didn't see it in the name dont be scared. TRY A LITTLE OF EVERYTING. Most importantly call ahead for the Paella. Its worth it. While you wait i suggest the oxtail and... More

I travel to Danbury once or twice a month. Now routinely have at least one dinner there each time. Often very busy so I sat at the bar. Had 2 small plates. Chips with salsa and Guac first followed by quesadilla and glass of wine. Darion was great. Busy making drinks but still attentive to the fact that I wanted... More

Tapas bandwagon strikes again. Been to Spain. Know what tapas are. These are not tapas. Good wine list. Nice atmosphere. The food just does.not cut it.

Been to Mezon several times, including a special event where they had a special "happy hour" and Salsa dancing (February 2015). I have gone for drinks with friends, dinner with husband, and multiple business dinners. Small space, call ahead for larger groups. Outdoor dining available. Queso con Higos y Nueces (goat cheese, dried figs, guava, walnuts, crispy toast) is my... More

Been awhile since my last visit to Mezon Tapas. Still just as good as the first year they opened. The sangria is always a hit as is the paella, which needs 45 minutes to prepare. Worth the wait. The paella for two is a meal into itself. With a group of 4, it makes a great 'other' tapas. Cocktails and... More
