FIRST OFF...Makes your party stand in the foyer before anyone even approaches you as to how many. Don't DARE set foot inside!!! Food finally comes... 1. Pepperoni pizza with hardly any pepperoni. 2. No flavor...had to add ton of garlic & Oregano. 3. Tiny plates to make the narrow slices appear large. (Go to Portifino's in Goldens Bridge, NY to... More

Having eaten great "abeets" since college inNew Haven with Pepe's Sally's and Modern with side trips to Zappardi's inWest Haven for their sausage pies I was so surprised to see a copy of Pepe's oven area in Danbury Yes the pizza met the test of taste, crust and flavorful sauce with great toppings Danbury is a plus for Pepe's pizza. I know that Frank Pepe's has a large cult following and usually tops the "Best of" lists. They make a very good pizza with generous portions and the fresh tomato pie (seasonal) is special, but I would choose Stanziato over FP any day and even Pulcinella's rivals or surpasses. This can be a noisy and happy place that features some... More

All of the hype about this place, I was less then impressed. I love the thin, crunchy crust, but each piece was thin at the bottom, then thicker and doughy at the top. Not to my liking. Its VERY hard to find thin, wood burning oven pizza outside on LI & the city. And I found it very odd that... More

Even though your chooses are limited the pizza is fresh and scrumptious. I love their whit pizza, no one else seems to make at as they do! It's like spaghetti and white clam sauce without the spaghetti but instead on thin crispy crust with lots of garlic. Not many choices but enough to satisfy. A simple dinner or lunch. Slices... More

Recently stopped in for probably some of the best pizza outside the Bronx in my opinion. Thin crust pies that are not traditionally sliced but sliced in strips. Made fresh to order and just awesome. All they serve are pies, and salad if your into that, so you know only one specialty is going to be great.

Went early on a Sunday afternoon. Service was impeccable. Place was clean. Pizza was Margarita style and good. My little one did not like it that she is used to New York style pizza. Everyone else in our group loved the pizzas

Was a little skeptical as I usually drive all the way to New Haven... but have to say the pizza was equally as good. The place lacks a little of the original Pepe's "flavor" as far as decor, but hey, it's a strip mall versus the old 1925 store... and the staff in Danbury is much younger :)

This has to be one of the best pizza joints in danbury! The food is great however, I prefer to take out as it is a very family friendly restaurant and can be quite noisy when they are real busy.

We saw ads saying it was the best pizza in town so we decided to walk in an give it a try. I expected to walk in and get slices but it doesn't work that way. You order pie by the size and they come in rectangle pans cut in odd shaped slices. You choose the toppings, we had spinach,... More
