Consistently good, tasty food, reasonably priced, Only bad part is the parking- it is on a busy road and parking is tight. But otherwise a favorite of ours.
We were in the Danbury area and craving some Latin food. I quickly yelped this location out and we went to try it out. Like Pioco's in Orlando, it is a very affordable deli-style restaurant, where you look at what's available through the glass counter,...More
Among other things, they have a great Cubano, which I have minus the lettuce, tomato, and mayo, things I don't think belong on a good Cubano. The roast pork with rice and beans is a variation on this theme. My wife loves the boneless stewed...More
This spot is ideal if your starving and want a big meal for under $7 bucks. Get your choice of meat with rice and beans and you wont be dissappointed. As a regular, my only complaint is the ratio of rice to beans and meat...More
I have had the pleasure of eating from the kitchens of Amigo's. When I first went there I was looking for a Cuban sandwich, that I have learned to love from visits to South Florida. When I was asked what I wanting I asked for...More
Little atmosphere, superb inexpensive food. Cuban sandwiches are amazing, although I always ask them to skip tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo. Steam-table meals with rice and beans are invariably excellent--one could choose at random and have a wonderful lunch. Friendly service, whether or not you speak...More
I love coming here for lunch. Authentic Spanish food that is very delicious. Employees are generally very pleasant and happy to help. The inside could be a little more comfortable / clean, but it is not dirty in an unsanitary way.
This place has the best food in danbury. Hugh portions and good prices. I get the hot bar every time but the sandwiches look great. Also serve a great breakfast. Seating is limited but you can get it to go.
What can I say? Its a dive but this place is my fix for rice, beans, and stewed meat with gravy. Its always good, its always fresh and the portions are huge. I go so often that the staff knows to speak to me in...More
