I always meet my friend here for lunch. We never had a bad meal. The staff are friendly. The clam chowder is very thick and creamy. No matter what we order it is always good.

Our local men's club had our monthly dinner here, although we are all in a surrounding town, not in Danbury. Our private area was well-laid out. Our only issue was noise from the regular dining room. That normally wouldn't be a problem, but we had a speaker. The food was delicious, and the servers worked hard to make sure we... More

The service was slow but very nice staff. Food is average. Wish it had a bit more flavor. I may give this place a second chance - hopefully they will be better in the future.

Went for dinner and was very pleased. From the host greeting me to the waiter, Mark, everything was as you would expect in a first class restaurant. The decor is definitely steakhouse and the steak was perfect. Cooked as requested, very little fat, seasoned and well presented. I really enjoyed the food and ambiance. Would definitely go back!

My husband used to go to Jim Barbarie's quite frequently, however, when I went vegan (for ethical reasons), we determined there were just not enough options for me. Last night, however, Irene and the chef made it happen. I was so grateful, as I really love the place. It is very cozy, especially in the bar area. It is dimly... More

They have an early bird special that includes soup or salad and an entree. No skimpy portions and the food has consistently been very good.Drinks are a very fair size and the staff really fusses over you.

JB's is a old restaurant with great food and service. I've been here a few times and never was disappointed. The bar is a fun happy hour bar - it's usually packed and inviting. Everything on the menu is delicious. Portions are big and prices are fair. Bathrooms are old but clean. Lots of room for parking.

We have lunched here on a couple of occasions recently and seem to encounter small but annoying problems. First up, the staff are nice, very attentive to start with and the food is reasonably good too, but there just seems to be a disconnect. For example, on a recent visit two of us ordered the same thing, and when the... More

Great place for a meal with the family. Place was unusually busy for a Monday night but was a combating considering we didn't have reservations. Food was okay I don't think it lives up to the hype I have heard about the restaurant living in Danbury, but food was still decent.

We went for a late afternoon Sunday meal and really enjoyed ourselves. The service is truly excellent - from the manager greeting us when arrived and checking in on us during the meal, to our waiter (Antonio? - I really wish I could remember for sure), to the expediters who bring out the food when it's ready. Dinner service is... More
